Bulk and Negotiated fare The purpose of this instruction is to provide guidance on the use and issuance of Air Burkina e-tickets on and after 1 June 2008, when paper tickets are eliminated from IATA BSPs. This document is primarily concerning administration processes with other airline partners.

1. e-tickets Only from 1 June 2008 in IATA BSPs For tickets issued on or after 1 June 2008 paper tickets must not be issued on BSP neutral paper ticket stock using Air Burkina airline accounting code (2J 226).

2. 2J Ticket Issue Policy Air Burkina may be selected as ticketing carrier by travel agents when issuing e-tickets to cover journeys which include travel entirely or partially: (a) on 2J flights with a 2J flight designator code (including flights with a 2J prefix operated by a 2J partner carrier like I5). In all other cases, Air Burkina must not be selected as ticketing carrier. Air Burkina has a ticket issuance misuse fee of XOF 30 000 in place. This will be applied in each case where a 2J ticket has been used to issue tickets which do not conform to this policy. In the event of a fee being applied, it will be charged to each ticket and debited by means of an ADM.

3. Rebooking /Collecting change fees on Air Burkina

3.1 Revalidation

The revalidation is not allowed For rebooking of tickets, the revalidation can be done only by 2J agencies CTO or ATO.

3.2 Reissue

Reissue must be used by the agent to rebook 2J e-tickets. Use ADC procedure to collect rebooking fee

4. Interline e -ticket agreements (IET) on Air Burkina Air Burkina has completed IET agreements with the following carriers. This means that providing Air Burkina flights are part of an interline journey with the following carriers, Air Burkina tickets may be issued in accordance with the 2J Ticket Issue Policy. 6. Ticketing of Infants on interline journeys

I5 as 2J does not have limited functionality in their system to accept e-tickets for infants who are travelling as part of an interline journey involving Air Burkina.

7. Ticketing Airports which are not e-ticket enabled

8. Open Flight Coupons I5 as 2J support the issuance of open e-ticket flight coupons. 2J as Validating Carrier will issue e-tickets for interline itineraries with open segments as long as one segment is confirmed or waitlisted.

9. Itineraries containing more than 16 Segments 2J can issue conjunctive tickets up to 16 coupons. 2J cannot accept a conjunctive ticket as validating carrier or from an OA validating carrier that contains more than 16 coupons as defined in IATA industry ATB resolutions.

10. Group booking 2J allows the issuance of electronic tickets for groups. 2J requires that each ticket have a specific passenger name. 2J allows E-tickets to be issued in a PNR that contains a group name field as long as the ticket is issued for an individual.

11. 2J Policy for VMPD / VMCO

IATA has developed the BSPlink VMPD as a substitute for manual MPDs. Air Burkina will accept VMPD or VMCO solu tions only for a very limited number of reasons of issuance. The table below gives an overview of the reasons for wich Air Burkina will accept the issuance of a V-MPD (BSP link) or a V-MCO (GDS’ solution). Since the transmission of the GDS V-MCO number into Air Burkina Reservation or DCS data base is not guaranteed today in order to allow efficient processing, acceptance of it will be limited until clarifications are made by GDSs.
