We aim to get to every municipal council and provide a comprehensive narrative for residents of each municipality detailing what the RER program looks like locally. • Recent meetings with Mayor of Oshawa, UOIT Town and Gown Committee, and Clarington Board of Trade to discuss local service and infrastructure improvements. • We are working with municipal partners to schedule local consultations on new stations. • We are developing a community charter which will commit Metrolinx to building the regional transportation system in a way that is respectful of the communities it touches. • This is in addition to the standard community relations support that we have traditionally provided on the ground on projects like Georgetown South and the Eglinton Crosstown. 26 OUR COMMITMENT TO DURHAM REGION 27 .
