As related to the current reality, trade names have become key elements of the marketing strategy, with a strong influence on language. In the case of confectionery and pastry products, the intention of the sender (the supplier) is to raise the interest of the receiver by simple, concise, clearly expressed words, showing the quality, the basic ingredients and the origin of the food. These elements determine the success of the product on the market and its recognition by means of the advertising discourse.
