GENESIS —THE BEGINNING Starts TODAY November 8, Sunday, 9:00 am, Sanctuary Genesis means “in the beginning” and this is the perfect title for the first book of the Bible. This book is the genesis, or the beginning, of our understanding of God, of creation, of ourselves and of salvation. The theological cornerstones upon which the entire Bible stands find their beginning in Genesis. Please join us on November 8 as we kickoff The Beginning, our new sermon series on Genesis 1-11.

FOSTER THE LOVE Every Sunday, November 8 - December 6, Lobby We are once again partnering with Every Child to “Foster the Love” and bring joy to the over 500 children currently in the foster care system in Jackson County. Together let’s make this a Christmas they will remember, and one we will never forget! Stop by the Christmas table and learn how you can be the hands and feet of Jesus. It’s easy, here’s how...

TOY/GIFT CARD: Remove a tag from the Christmas tree (it has a child’s age and gender on it), purchase a toy for $25 or less for that child, place it in a Christmas gift bag, attach the tag to the gift bag. Or purchase a $25 gift card, place it in a Christmas card in an unsealed envelope, write an encouraging note, and either way drop the gift off at the Christmas table by Sunday, December 6.

DONATIONS: Every Child is happy to do your shopping for you! You can either go online to everychildjackson.org to make a donation or go online to Heritage’s website www.heritagefellowship.net/giving, under FUND, use the drop-down arrow and then click on Benevolence - Foster the Love. You can also write a check, make your check payable to Heritage and memo it “Benevolence Fund - Foster the Love”. Just drop your donation in the offering kiosk no later than December 6.

Together we can show these children that God loves them and so do we! If you have any questions, please contact Lynette Hasse at 541.621.7238 or at [email protected].

CONQUER SERIES The Conquer Series is not a Bible study in the traditional sense, but instead it is a war council for any man who has ever struggled. At some point, every man will be tempted to sin sexually. The difference between prevailing and failing comes down to having a battle plan in place. This 11-week series is a Jesus centered, Bible based, comprehensive curriculum training men to fight and win against sexual sin and teaching them how to live in sexual purity. This intensive discipleship course will take you out of your comfort zone, so expect to be challenged. Men 18 years and up are invited, please bring your Bible and a notebook. The cost for the Series varies from $5-$15 and includes all the study materials. This Series has already started, and registration has closed. If you have any questions, please contact Mike at [email protected].

COVID POLICY OUR HEART We recognize that there is a broad spectrum of COVID convictions from the individuals that call Heritage home. As a church, we are choosing to honor the state and county requirements that are being asked of all churches. We are doing this because we believe that it honors the Lord as we honor the heart of Romans 13. Plus, it also displays love to those in our church that are more susceptible of contracting COVID. With that in mind, here is the COVID policy that we will be honoring at this juncture. Please know that we will continually keep a pulse on the regulations and will respond accordingly, with a heart for Jesus above all. Please pray for the leadership of Heritage and also the people of Heritage. Pray that Jesus will be first in our hearts, as well as love for one another.
