Alle hunder bedømmes etter sin rasestandard - en nøyaktig beskrivelse av hvordan den ideelle hund av angivende rase bør se ut. En slik hund finnes ikke, den er bare et idealbilde. Noen hunder kommer tett opp til standarden, mens andre avviker mer fra idealet. Rasens standard gjenspeiler også hvilke bruksegenskaper hunden skal ha. Sammen med et planmessig avlsarbeid bør dette utvikle sunne og friske dyr. Husk at dagsformen varierer både for hunden din og ikke minst deg selv! Samarbeid om å gjøre det beste - og LYKKE TIL! Vi ønsker både deltagere og publikum en fin dag på Letohallen. Er du på utstilling for første gang? I så fall vil du nok møte på en del nye ord og uttrykk. Et godt tips er å lese innledningen i katalogen, og hvis du fremdeles er forvirret - spør de som sitter ved siden av deg. Sekretariatet hjelper naturligvis også til. Følgende forkortelser går igjen: BIS - Best i show BIG - Best i gruppen BIR - Best i rasen BIM - Best i motsatt kjønn Cert - Certifikat CK - Certifikatkvalitet HP - Hederspris Dersom din hund blir BIR plikter dere å stille i gruppefinalen, som avvikles etter at rasebedømmelsene er ferdig i alle ringer. Slik leser du katalogen: Først kommer hundens katalognummer, navn, registreringsnummer, fødselsdato og farge. Så kommer eierens navn og adresse, deretter oppdretters navn og adresse og på siste linje (i parantes) hundens foreldre, først far og så mor. Foran hundens navn, betyr at denne står for championatet. Det vil si at den får sitt tredje cert (2 små og 1 stort, ett etter fylte to år) og blir norsk utstillingschampion. The song— ecomusicology; ecocriticism; and its accompanying music video—features musical, lyrical, and audiovisual means of popular music; Iceland registering the turbulence of living in volcanic landscapes. My analysis of Sigur Rós’s music opens up a window into an Icelandic cultural history of inhabiting a risky Earth, a condition captured by anthropologist Gísli Pálsson’s concept of geosociality, which emerged from his ethnography in communities living with volcanoes.

The Gunnlaugs Saga might be read as an historical novel, but with the Hervarar Saga we pass into a world of legend and myth. The verses contained in this saga are of particular interest; they represent three distinct styles and are among the most beautiful of their kind. The textual history of this saga is unusually com­ plicated, and the text here presented has been prepared and carefully normalized by Dr, GuSni J6nsson on the basis of the critical edition of Dr, J6n Helgason {Heidreks Saga, Copenhagen 1924), in which fidl variant apparatus is provided. It has been decided to keep the Notes in the present book as short as possible, but it is hoped that the Glossary will provide such information as the student needs for enjojmient of the text, I wish first of all to thank Christopher Tolkien, whose knowledge of the legends of this saga has exceptional value, for contributing the Introduction and advising me on many points of detail, Peter G, Foote has kindly read the proofs of the Glossary and saved me from many pitfalls, and Dr, Einar Cl, Sveinsson has also given helpful advice.
