DAY 1 DAY 1: WELCOME TO NORWAY Arrive to Gardermoen Airport in Oslo. For an easy and comfortable way to get to your hotel in central Oslo, we can arrange a private transfer for you on request. If you arrive to the city early, we suggest buying an Oslo Pass for free travel on all public transit along with free admission to over 30 museums and attractions as well as special offers on entertainment, restaurants, shops and more. The pass can be purchased at tourist information centres and most hotels and major tourist attractions in the city. Spend the night at a hotel in central Oslo. Attractions: Oslo

DAY 2 DAY 2: CITY SIGHTSEEING TOUR & FREE TIME IN OSLO Today you’ll have the opportunity to get to know the capital of Norway. Included in your itinerary today is a 4- hour guided city sightseeing tour by boat and bus. On this tour you will visit many of Oslo’s most impressive sights, including the Holmenkollen Ski Jump and Ski Museum, the Viking Ship Museum, the Vigeland Sculpture Park, the Royal Palace, the Polar ship “Fram”, Akershus Fortress and other sites in central Oslo. After the tour, the rest of your day is free to explore the city. Suggestionsinclude visiting the shopping street, Bogstadveien, enjoying some of the cosy restaurants downtown or just relaxing in one of Oslo’s many lush parks. Spend another night in Oslo. Attractions: Akershus Fortress, Holmenkollen Ski Jump & Museum, The Royal Palace (Oslo), The Viking Ship Museum

DAY 3 DAY 3: ARRIVAL TO SVOLVÆR IN LOFOTEN ISLANDS After enjoying breakfast, make your way to the Oslo central station. There you will take the airport express train to Gardermoen airport for your flight to Svolvær, Lofoten's main town. On arrival in Svolvær, pick up your rental car at the airport and start exploring. In Svolvær you will find a variety of small galleries, shops and cultural attractions nestled under the town’s landmark mountain, Svolværgeita (the Svolvær Goat), a popular challenge for climbers. If you arrive early enough, we recommend a walk to the nearby island of Svinøya for a visit to the art museum or a stroll around town for excellent views of the sea and surrounding islands. Spend the night in Svolvær.

1/4 DAY 4 DAY 4: ACTIVITY DAY ON THE ISLAND Your activities today in Svolvær will vary depending on your travel month: 1st of June – 1st of October After enjoying breakfast, meet up with your tour guide for today's adventure, a 5-hour guided Lofoten hiking and biking tour. On this tour you will bike to an old part of the Lofoten road that is no longer in use. Here your group will park the bicycles and hike up to a beautiful viewpoint. If the weather is good you may hike all the way up to the top for a breathtaking view towards the western and eastern parts of the Lofoten Islands. Afterwards you will be transferred back to your lodgings, a fisherman’s cabin in Svolvær. As a suggestion for an evening activity, take a drive up to Eggum and experience the midnight sun at a beautiful pebbled beach surrounded by impressive peaks. 1st of October – 31st of May After breakfast, take some time to explore the town, perhaps at the harbour or in one of the local cafes. Then you will take part in an exciting guided RIB boat tour. This maritime adventure takes you to the beautiful Trollfjorden, the dramatic beaches of Frunnstad and a sea eagle habitat at Skrova. If you are lucky you might see some seals as well. A perfect end to this action-packed day is a visit to the “Magic Icebar” and its gallery with magnificent ice sculptures. And if you're visiting in the middle of winter, we also recommend a stroll later in the evening for a chance to see the northern lights. DAY 5 DAY 5: ENJOY NATURE AT YOUR LEISURE Today you can explore Svolvær as you wish. This a great opportunity for photographers to experiment with Lofoten's unique lighting conditions or for nature lovers to enjoy activities like hiking or kayaking. If it's a wildlife experience you're after, there are birdwatching and whalewatching tours available from Svolvær or you can drive to Andøya Island for a guided tour at the Andenes Whale Centre and whale watching safari by boat (details and driving directions can be provided by your travel consultant). Spend another night in Svolvær. Attractions: Lofoten Islands & Svolvær

2/4 DAY 6 DAY 6: SANDY BEACHES & VIKINGS Today it’s time to leave Svolvær and explore some other areas of the Lofoten Islands. From Svolvær your drive will take you along the National tourist road in the Lofoten Islands, on your way to Reine. The driving distance between Svolvær and Reine is only about 2 hours, giving you the perfect opportunity to stop along the way and explore the breathtaking nature the Lofoten Islands offer. We recommend taking the beautiful side-road down to Henningsvær, one of the archipelago’s main fishing villages. Another suggestion is to make a stop at Skrova where you will find beautiful sandy beaches and a magnificent view of the Lofoten Wall. Make sure to make a stop at Borg and pay a visit to the Lofoten Viking Museum if you go this way. On your arrival in Reine, head to your accommodation for the next two nights in a fisherman’s cabin. Driving distance approx. 140 km / 87 mi. Attractions: Borg, Henningsvær, Skrova

DAY 7 DAY 7: LOFOTEN'S HIGHEST PEAK After enjoying breakfast, take some time to explore the area surrounding Reine. As a suggestion, you can join a 1-hour sightseeing boat tour around some of the most beautiful fjords in Norway. This tour gives you a great opportunity to experience the dramatic nature of the Lofoten Islands. As well as sailing past Lofoten’s highest mountain, Hermannsdalstinden (1030 meters above sea level), the boat stops at five other locations along the way, with some shore stops to explore on foot. After an eventful day, spend another night in the fisherman’s cabin in Reine. Attractions: Hermannsdalstinden

DAY 8 DAY 8: BACK TO OSLO Today it’s time to back to Norway's capital. After enjoying breakfast, drive to Svolvær airport and drop the car off before your flight back to Oslo. In Oslo, enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure, perhaps with a fine dinner to top off your amazing journey. Spend the night in Oslo. Note: If you wish to extend your stay in Lofoten, we are happy to adjust your itinerary accordingly.

DAY 9 DAY 9: DEPARTURE For transportation to Oslo-Gardermoen Airport, you can take the Flytoget express train from Oslo Central Station or a taxi directly from your hotel. If your flight is in the afternoon, take the opportunity to do some last-minute shopping, enjoy a visit to one of Oslo’s museums or have a relaxing lunch at a café. Attractions: Oslo
