The place of realization this project is Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in Terrassa, Spain. The whole complex organization of this school contains...: 15 schools; 40 departments; 3 university research institutes; 3 consortial associate schools; 4 associate schools; 13 libraries. ... and in Terrassa, there are six schools, that about 5400 students are attending to. With a great number of services the campus of UPC in Terrassa has become one of the most dynamic urban university campuses. Schools of Engineering (the School of Industrial Engineering of Terrassa and the College of Industrial Engineering of Terrassa) are combined with the Schools of Optics and of Optometry and of the Image Processing and Multimedia Technology Centre (CITM). The campus of UPC gives a chance for foreign students to realize Socrates/Erasmus scholarship, by attending to classes and laboratories (in Spanish/Catalan) or by creating final projects in English or Spanish. With the partnership of UPC and UNESCO Chair, students are also able to realize projects with a social undertone, not exactly connected with technical profile of University. (UPC 2008) Figure 1. My work is a research in European politiques about water management, with answers for many questions and doubts about water situation and resources in the world. 1.2. The reason of creating this kind of work. Water is something, that we can’t live without. This is only a simple chemical substance but it’s essential for the survival of all known forms of life. In our lifes we use it every day, and every hour, and 5 usually we don’t consider, how important this liquid is for us. Most of the time, we use water in liquid form, but it’s around us also in solid state and as a gas – water vapor. Each man and woman know, that the bigger part of our planet is covered by water, so they don’t think about it, how

As no TB cases have been reported in domestic animals in this region since 2005, any occurrence of TB in the free-living animals inhabiting this area might pose a real threat to local livestock and result in the loss of disease-free status. The aim of the study was to describe the occurrence of tuberculosis in the wildlife of the Bieszczady Mountains and determine the microbiological and molecular characteristics of any cultured strains. Lymph node samples were collected for analysis from 274 free-living animals, including European bison, red foxes, badgers, red deer, wild boar and roe deer between 2011 and 2017. Löwenstein–Jensen and Stonebrink media were used for culture. Molecular identification of strains was performed based on hsp65 sequence analysis, the GenoType®MTBC (Hain Lifescience, Germany) test, spoligotyping and MIRU-VNTR analysis. Results: Mycobacterium caprae was isolated from the lymph nodes of 21 out of 55 wild boar (38.2%; CI 95%: 26.5%, 51.4%) and one roe deer.

In such studies different approaches and different indicators can be used. The aim of this study is to determine changes in flow regime of the largest river in Poland—the Vistula, using new, more objectified coefficients and indices, based on data recorded in 22 gauges on the Vistula mainstream and 38 gauges on its tributaries in the multi-year period 1971–2010. The paper consists of three main parts: in the first part, in order to recognize changes in the flow regime characteristics along the Vistula, data from gauges located on the river mainstream were analyzed with the help of the theory of entropy. In the second part gauging stations on the Vistula mainstream and its tributaries were grouped; values of the newly introduced pentadic Pardé’s coefficient of flow (discharge) (PPC) were taken as the grouping criterion. In the third part of the study a novel method of determining river regime characteristics was applied: through the recognition of the temporal structure of hydrological phenomena and their changes in the annual cycle sequences of hydrological periods (characteristic phases of the hydrological cycle) on the Vistula River mainstream and its tributaries were identified and their occurrence in the yearly cycle was discussed.

    THE REMAINS OF THE MEDIEVAL HARBOUR IN PUCK (NORTHERN POLAND): A FEW WORDS ABOUT THE RESULTS OF PREVIOUS RESEARCH BALTICA 23 BALTICA IWONA POMIAN, BŁAŻEJ ŚLIWIŃSKI, SZYMON UŚCINOWICZ, TOMASZ WAŻNY Abstract ARCHAEOLOGIA The remains of a Medieval harbour were discovered in Puck in 1977. Preliminary research was conducted the next year by Wiesław Stępień. The site consists of a set of timber construction remains, located on the ground and strengthened with fas- cine, between which fragments of ceramics appear, especially in the area of the base of the pier. There are also a lot of pieces of simply processed trunks and branches stripped of bark nearby. Also, some scattered pieces of oak logs with yoke openings have been found lying distributed between the piles. Some help in attempting to reconstruct their arrangement comes from the mooring piles, which have a characteristic rectangular cross-section, and are still located on the sea bed. Pieces of five wrecks (one log boat, and four made from planks) have been found between the harbour constructions. Looking at the chronological arrangement of the site, created slowly on the basis of results obtained from dendrochronological analysis, and supplemented with radiological research, we can assume that the harbour was in use between the tenth and the 14th centuries.     The Congress of Local and Regional Authorities 22nd SESSION CG(22)7 14 March 2012 Local and regional democracy in Germany Monitoring Committee Rapporteur:1 Britt-Marie LÖVGREN, Sweden (L, ILDG2) Draft recommendation (for vote) .............................................................................................................. 2 Explanatory memorandum ....................................................................................................................... 5 Summary This report is the first general monitoring of the European Charter of Local Self-Government on Germany (a visit carried out in 1999 focused solely on local finances, evaluated at the time as being in a critical situation). The report sets out in detail the complex structure of the regional and local authorities in the country. The Rapporteurs praise the federal and regional (Länder) constitutions for their recognition of the principle of local self-government. They draw the attention of the German authorities, however, to the persistent financial deficits of local and regional authorities, and underline the need to establish practical guarantees that complement constitutional provisions. It is recommended to the German authorities that they strengthen and institutionalise the participatory rights of associations of local authorities both at federal and regional (Land) level. They are encouraged to set standards and criteria for concomitant financing in order to provide transparency in the whole financial calculation and planning process. The Government is also invited to consider extending counties’ rights to impose taxes directly beyond the available ones. Finally, Germany is called on to ratify the Additional Protocol to the European Charter of Local Self-Government on the right to participate in the affairs of a local authority. 1 The Co-rapporteur Mr Ignacio Sanchez Amor is no longer a member of the Congress since December 2011.
