A fragrant cava with hints of lemon citrus and apricots. Long lovely finish. MV Segura Viudas "Gran Cuvée Reserva” 52 - Macabeo, Parellada, Pinot Noir & Chardonnay - A balanced, accessible version that layers flavors of poached pear, grated ginger and zesty ground spice on a lightly creamy mousse. 2011 Gramona Imperial "Gran Reserva" 75 - Macabeo & Xarel·lo - Beautiful balanced of sweet stone fruit with an assertive perfect acidity level, aromas of spices, floral, figs and ripe yellow fruit that displayed elegance of structure and superb lasting complexity finish. 2009 Llopart Leopardi "Brut Gran Reserva" 80 - Xarel·lo, Macabeo, Parellada & Chardonnay – Aromas of apple, pear, grass and green herbs are expansive. Lightly spiced and mouthwatering through the lasting finish. 2007 Gramona III Ilustros "Gran Reserva” 112 - Macabeo & Xarel·lo - Powerful and vigorous well made that shows a lightly fruity, cherry-plums, quince, greenish yellow of hue, with lemony reflections that create a very complex and mature long finish of green apples. 2007 Agustí Torelló Mata "Kripta” 200 - Macabeo, Parellada & Xarel·lo - An exotic hint of passion fruit coulis is layered with pastry cream, blanched almonds and elderflower notes in this elegant Cava. CONCA DEL RIU ANOIA Conca del Riu Anoia forms a very small geographical area surrounding the Anoia River valley between the Anoia and Foix River in Eastern Penedes. The Raventos family decided in 2012 to create their own D.O. and create specific quality oriented guidelines such as: indigenous varietals, low yields in the vineyard, long period of maceration on the lees, and vintage wines only. 2015 Finca Raventós i Blanc “Rosé de Nit" 56 - Macabeu, Xarel·lo, Parellada & Monastrell – It offers up an expressive minerality along with notions of brioche, spring flowers, and white fruits. 2012 Finca Raventós i Blanc “de La Finca" 60 - Xarel·lo, Macabeo & Parellada - Elegant, intense and very refined cava. A cava that will seduce you from the beginning with its very fresh notes of fruit. The creamy background provided by the ageing is felt all along the palate. 2010 Finca Raventós i Blanc “Manuel Raventós Negra " 120 - Xarel·lo, Parellada & Macabeu - This aromatic sparkler shows notes of toasted brioche, poached quince, candied ginger and lemon curd, as well as a subtle thread of graphite and spice. Well-meshed and lightly mouthwatering, with a clean-cut, lacy finish. D. O. COSTERS DEL SEGRE This Designation of Origin located in western Catalonia is a mosaic scattered throughout the entire basin of the River Segre and the Lleida Pyrenees. Costers del Segre benefits from a soil reach limestone, and a marked Mediterranean climate, featuring strong thermal fluctuations ideal for the complexity of the wines produced. 2014 Costers del Sió “Siós”, Brut Rosé Reserva 80 - Pinot Noir - Beautiful pale pink, clean, persistent with hints of peach, nectarine and apricot jam. Notes of ripe pear and a smooth toasty finish grace the palate. CIDER MV Poma Aurea, Sidra de Asturias, Hard Apple Cider 48 - Indigenous Asturian Apples – This Sidra is made with a selection of indigenous apple varieties from the best local orchards. These apples are meticulously hand sorted and pressed using traditional old wooden presses. Castilla y León 44 - Sauvignon Blanc & Verdejo - This wine has delicate floral touches and notes of fruit. It has an excellent balance. It stands out for its personality and complexity with notes of grapefruit and green apple to provide a noticeable acidity of refreshing flavors. 2015 Pinna Fidelis, D.O. Rueda 48 - Verdejo - Firm and focused, this solid white delivers pear, quince and tangerine flavors, with smoky and mineral accents. Shows good balance and depth, presenting a clean, floral finish. 2016 Nicolas Ulacia E Hijos, D.O. Getariako Txakolina 50 - Hondaribbi Zuri - Lean and crisp, this lively white shows grapefruit, brine and quinine flavors, with vibrant acidity and a light spritz. 2014 Hacienda de Arinzano, D.O.P. Pago de Arinzano 56 - Chardonnay - This Chardonnay is a lively, expressive, fresh, very elegant and persistent. Intensive citrus notes with light toasty hints of coconut, honey and dry fruits, like hazelnut and almonds. 2015 Avancia JO, D.O. Valdeorras 75 - Godello - Citrus into pear aromas. Very clean and crisp aromas. Mineral and shellfish. Palate is a bit more robust, with an ashy and almond note. Rías Baixas 60 - Albariño - This classic wine shows an excellent clarity and mineral cut on the long incisive finish. Mineral accented aromas of fresh honeydew, tangerine and white flowers with a floral quality in the background. 2015 Bodegas Itsasmendi "Itsasmendi 7", D.O. Bizkaiko Txakolina 60 - Hondarrabi Zuri & Riesling - Medium straw-colored, it delivers an attractive bouquet of spring flowers, lemon peel and spiced ginger. This is followed by a smooth-textured, ripe, intense wine with some complexity and excellent length. 2013 Oxer Wines "Iraun", D.O.C. Rioja 90 - Viura & Garnacha Blanca - This white rioja is blessed with a lovely nose, presence of oak, vanilla and a gentle creaminess. Iraun is fragrant and delicate, woven through the lime and ripe orchard fruits and hinting a burgeoning sense of minerality. 2014 Vinedos Torres "Milmanda", D.O. Conca de Barbera 120 – Chardonnay - Wonderfully intense nose offering pronounced notes of flowers and fresh fruit with spicy undertones. Good structure and remarkable complexity. The finish is long, elegant and refined. 2014 Bodegas Contador "Qué Bonito Cacareaba", D.O.C Rioja 150 – Garnacha Blanca, Viura & Malvasia - A rich, succulent style, exuding apple, melon, lime, hazelnut and honey flavors. Concentrated, but fluid, with fine balanced and a lingering finish of honey and spice on a chalky frame. ROSÉ 2015 Bodegas Tandem “Casual”, D.O. Navarra 48 - Garnacha & Viura - Casual shows a beautiful pale pink color with a light violet rim. Complex nose with exuberant red fruit, candy, and red rose petal.
