The town itself paints a picture of the 1930s with the sleepy small town look. With the small shops and old buildings, then add Model A’s everywhere, an excellent swap meet, bands playing in the park and all kinds of food, its like stepping back 80 years.

The day starts in Sharon at 9:00 a.m. and if you want to find a choice parking area we will need to leave the New Berlin McDonalds at Moorland & National Ave. at 7:30 a.m.

9 Sunshine Report……

Long time member George Wartner passed away April 12th, in Arizona from pulmonary failure. Burial will be in Lodi, WI in June, at this time arrangements are pending. Our deepest sympathies to Carolyn and the family.

Karen Dickinson had a minor stroke and spent 3 days and nights at St. Luke’s hospital. While there doctors implanted heart monitor, a digital device that will monitor idiosyncratic beating behavior. Ka- ren is home and doing well.

I am told spring may be arriving to Wisconsin soon – hopefully before winter returns!

How to Rebuild A Generator Technical Seminar Thursday, March 17, 2016

You missed a very good technical seminar if you didn't come to our March seminar. Scott presented a very helpful session on generators and how the whole electrical system works. He went through how the cut out worked and how simple it is to move the third brush to increase output for night driv- ing. Scott explained how the magnetic system delivers the power to keep everything charged up. Scott went through the generator I brought in for the demonstration and found out that it was not any good. He discovered that the one I brought had a short in the fields and the third brush did not work at all. I took the generator back home and fixed all the problems Scott found. The generator is all good now and ready to go. We all thank Scott Tilton for presenting such an interesting and informative seminar on the Model A generator. Remember to let Jeff or I know what projects YOU would like to have covered in our next technical seminar which will be on Thursday, October 20th. The best seminars are the ones that are done by club members. Whatever your problem is, our group can figure it out. All of us are here to help you with any problems.
