Day 01- Airport → Negombo

At the Airport our Chauffeur Guide will welcome you with a southern hospitality and offer assistance to transfer and check-in to your hotel in Negombo (approx. 30 minutes). Spend the evening relaxing by the beach. Overnight in Negombo. Overnight in Negombo

Day 02- Negombo → Sigiriya

After enjoying your breakfast proceed to Sigiriya where you will witness the great king kashapa’s marvelous creation - the city of the lion rock (approx. 03 hrs). En route, you have the option of visiting the Millennium Elephant Foundation in Pinnawela. After a drive of almost 03 hours, settle in at your resort and unwind

The Millennium Elephant Foundation is situated on a beautiful 15-acre estate known as ‘Samaragiri’ in Rambukkana area, in the Sabaragamuwa District of . The premises have been home to the Samarasinghe family for generations and now, as a family, they run a non- governmental organization in Sri Lanka, dedicated to improving the lives of captive elephants. The foundation is funded mainly by visitors and volunteers’ fees. Since the inception of Millennium Elephant Foundation, more than 80 elephants have been provided shelter. Presently, there are elephants spanning in age from 25-60 years residing under the care of the sanctuary.

Day 03- Sigiriya → Minneriya National Park

After breakfast, take a trip to Minneriya National Park where you will experience giants of the wild in their natural habitat, feeding, bathing and meeting other elephants (approx. 04 hours for the jeep safari). Minneriya National Park is a national park in North Central Province of Sri Lanka. The area was designated as a national park on 12 August 1997, having been originally declared as a wildlife sanctuary in 1938. The park is best known however, for an amazing event that takes a place annually during the dry season (July-October) and is known as “The Gathering”. When the water level in the Tank starts to drop, fresh, young, grass grows in its place. The result is a mass turnout of elephants feeding on the banks of the Minneriya reservoirs.

Day 04- Minneriya National Park→ Kandy

After enjoying your breakfast, set off to Kandy (approx. 02.5 hrs.). En route you can visit the marvelous Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO listed World Heritage Site. And thee spice gardens in Matale en route to Kandy - a glorious ancient city. If interested, feel free to purchase some of these spices that bring out the gusto of Sri Lankan cuisine. Check-in to your hotel in Kandy and spend the evening at leisure. The Sigiriya Rock is referred to as the eighth Wonder of Asia, situated in the heart of the island between the towns of Dambulla and Habarana on a massive rocky plateau 370 meters above the sea level. It is the most visited tourist destination in Sri Lanka as this ancient palace and fortress complex has significant archaeological importance and attracts thousands of tourists. It is formed from magma of an extinct volcano, is 200 meters higher than the surrounding jungles. Extensive network of fortifications, vast gardens, ponds, canals, alleys and fountains, surrounds the ancient fortress complex. The surrounding includes remnants of a ruined place and the surrounding territories of the Sigiriya Rock were inhabited for thousands of years.

Day 05- Kandy

After breakfast, you'll be taking part in a city tour of Kandy – the last kingdom where you'll be visiting the Temple of the Tooth Relic.

This remarkable temple houses the Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha. If you and your spouse love nature and greenery, you may visit the Royal Botanical Gardens. If you're not too tired, at approx. 1700 hours you can witness a cultural dance show in Kandy town.

Day 06- Kandy → Hatton

After morning relaxation, by 12:15 hours board the First-Class train to Hatton (approx. 3.5 hrs.). Witness the beautiful scenery of the lush green tea estates, breathtaking waterfalls and magnificent mountains on your way. After reaching Hatton, enjoy your evening sipping on some of the finest Ceylon Tea. Sri Lankan tea is popular across the world for good reason. You can explore the industry’s 150 yrs. history. You can see how tea leaves are produced. In the plantations of Sri Lanka’s stunning Hill country.

Day 07- Hatton → Tea Factory

After breakfast, enjoy an amazing sightseeing tour together with a visit to a Tea Factory/ Plantation where you could experience tea plucking firsthand. Conclude this visit with a warm cup of fresh Ceylon tea. Head back to your hotel or enjoy the superb spectacle of the verdant hills with a short walk at your leisure. Overnight in Hatton.

Day 08- Hatton → Galle

After enjoying your meal, proceed to Galle (approx. 05 hrs.) South of Sri Lanka, Galle. Galle is a wonderful destination with a great beach and the iconic Galle Fort. Spend the rest of your day unwinding on the soft sandy Galle beach while listening to the sea singing before you. Galle is Sri Lanka’s most preferred destination amongst Foreigners and locals alike. Day 09- Galle → Galle Fort

Enjoy a lovely city tour, after breakfast, and visit the Galle Fort which was built in 1588 by the Portuguese. The Fort is a popular destination among the tourists, and it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This colonial town is home to many quirky boutiques and stylish cafes that are definitely worth a visit.

Day 10- Galle → Airport

Sri Lanka is an amazing island to create your own definition of love. During the past few days, both of you lovebirds have been relishing delights of our tropical paradise, indulging in a lovely tour with a wonderful happening to cherish forever and now it's time to say goodbye.
