AND BEER Fukuju This smooth and user friendly Ginjo has a rolling nose fılled with strawberries, and melon, and a hint of banana. Silky, juicy, fleshy, and super smooth Fukuju is a walk on the fruit side. How can rice and water taste like fruit? That is the amazing thing about this amazing sake that feels so great in the mouth - like a buoy on the bay! And best of ali this juicy and fruity sake does not drink cloyingly sweet, rather it drinks velvety and extremely soft. A slick sake that walks the walk. Tomoju Tomoju Junmai Oaiginjo is a medium dry sake that has a fruity tart flavor and the refreshing aroma of melons and Muscat grapes. Elegant and crisp with a beautiful fınish. Kira Kira is a honjozo that has a fruity nose fılled with peach, pear, and melon tones. This sake is very dry and this is evident from the fırst chewy sip that evens out into a thin and almost watery departure from the mouth. Flavors such as mineral water, walnuts, and pine nuts glide throughout the mouth in a nice and slippery movement, and the fınish is a dry sake drinker's wet dream. Matsu No Matsu No Junmai Daiginjo is a light and dry Sake with sharp acidic and bitter flavor. Mizunoshirabe "Sound of Water" has a really superb nose fılled with hints of peaches, grapes, and persimmons with an undercurrent of minerals and green grasses. The fırst sip spells a very gentle and delicate sake with a smoothness and confıdence fılled with a melon slickness. The middle-mouth is chewy and clean and the fınish is a nice disappearing act with no aftertaste. This is a great "bring to a party sake." Junmai Kimoto CLASSIC More than any other of our products, Junmai Kimoto CLASSIC represents the characteristic flavor of Daishichi. This junmai kimoto has been specially brewed for true connoisseurs of sake. Rich and deeply flavored, it is matured for a full extra year. lntended to be appreciated at room temperature or gently warmed, this is a sake with a classic character. Ohtouka At fırst impression Ohtouka Nama Sake has a gentle, velvety and smooth flavor with continually mild taste that provides a refıned image. Mild, medium taste. Nanbushi Junmai • Medium Dry & Rich Medium dry Sake with round aroma of rice and soft smooth taste. Poochi Poochi One of my new favorite sparkling sakes! Made from Gohyaku-Mangoku Rice by the Suehiro Sake Brewery in Fukushima, this sparkling sake is drier than most with a hint of sweetness lending it betler to creative food pairings than some of our sweeter sparklers. lt's got the honeydew notes and the yogurty fiavor that I commonly associate with these sparkling sakes, a great light body, and fıne bubbles. 1 am VERY excited about this sake (and love saying the name)! (K&L Sake Buyer Melissa Lavrinc Smith) Harada Nama No charcoal fıltering, unpasteurized, and undiluted aromatic style sake that gives you an orange blossom and cedar nose. A round and medium body taste can be paired well with smoked salman or risotto. Taiten Shiragiku A gentle fırst impression to your palate is followed by a sharp, bright flavor and a floral scent. lts slight bite is refreshing. Yuzu Omoi Okay folks! Every once in a while it's fun to try a dierent type of sake and this is it. Basically this is a Tokubetsu Junmai sake with all-natural Yuzu (a Japanese citrus that is sort of lemony-orange) juice added to it. it is low in alcohol 7% and is considered to be sweet. The nose is obviously very citrusy and the fırst sip - after you smile - says that this is not a silly sake but a very fiavorful drinking experience. There is an abundance of fat and chewy (but not goopy) citrus fiavors that are balanced by a fırm acidity ali on a smooth and expansive fiow. it is sweet, but not overtly so. This is not a cheap infused sake that you see out on the market with apple and lychee fake fiavors, rather this a quality sake with quality Yuzu added for an amazingly bright and fun mouth party. Cup Jungin Otoko: The nose on this manga inspired sake is a collection of earthy, yeasty, crushed leaves, and citrus elements. it is big and rich with deep earthy and ricey fiavors that jump out. A wide and full-bodied brew that has deep recess hints of caramel, maple syrup, and mature fruit elements in an expressive fiuid with a tingle tail. Red wine drinkers take note! Gokuraku: A very mild nose of minerals and sugar cane. A very well balanced brew with hints of powder sugar and cotton candy in a soft and gentle fiuid. There are layers of silkiness that speak to those who like it clean and gone. White wine drinkers take note! Sawa Sawa The nose on this sparkling sake (9% alc) that was bottle-fermented has a vast array of aromas from tangerine, grapefruit, and Muscat grapes to cream and sweet rice. Sweet, bright and crisp this tingly sake has layers of snappy fiavors including grapefruit, honey, and granny smith apple. A champagne fiute brings out more sweetness to this light, tight, bright and fun sake that dances across the palate and leaves with a quick a dry fınish. Hints of citrus keeps this sparkling sake light in the mouth crisp on the tongue. Kurosawa Nigori: This is not your prototypical nigori as it is more misty than a white rush. The nose on the semi-cloudy Ginjo nigori that is milled to 50% is a light collection of creamcycle, star fruit, citrus, and cream aromas. Talk about a suave and very elegant slightly misty sake. it is very easy on the palate with layers of gentle flavors such as melon, star fruit, cream, and hint of citrus. And as nigoris go this delicate brew is semi-dry and that is a rarity in the unfıltered category. The importer says that she likes to slightly warm it too! Junmai Kimoto: Full-bodied and earthy, yet light. it is exquisitely balanced and masterfully brewed as the almighty sake. Served hot, cold or at room temperature. DaiGinjo: Specially brewed to celebrate the 10th Anniversary introduction of Kurosawa Brewery to the United States.
