AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENTS OF PALESTINE AND TRANS-JORDAN CONCER• NING THE ARREST AND HANDING OVER OF FUGITIVE CRIMINALS. IT IS HEREBY AGREED between the Governments of Trans-Jordan and Palestine that the English version of the Agreement dated the sixteenth day of July, 1934, and published in the Palestine Gazette of the twenty-sixth day of July, 1934, shall be amended by the substitution of the words "has been' for the word "is" after the words "prison or prisons wherein the convict" where they occur in Article 4 (2) (c) of the said Agreement. The abovementioned amendment shall come into force as from the date of the signature of the contracting party which signs last. CERTIFICATE I, JOHN HATHORN HALL, Officer Administering the Government of Palestine, hereby certify that the construction of a road of a width of thirty metres from the southern boundary of the Customs Warehouse, Block 19, Parcel 77, at Jaffa, and extending over a length from the southern entrance of the port at Jaila to the eastern boundary of Parcel 79 of Block 7020, Jaffa, is an undertaking of a public nature within the meaning of the Expropriation of Land Ordinances, 1926-1935. The plan of the land affected may be inspected at any time at any of the following places, viz: — The office of the District Commissioner, Southern District, Jafta. ORDER NO. 130 OF 1935, BY THE OFFICER ADMINISTERING THE GOVERNMENT UNDER SECTION 44. IN EXERCISE of the powers vested in the High Commissioner by section 44 of the Customs Ordinance, 1929, the Officer Administering the Government hereby orders as follows:— 1. This Order may be cited as the Importation of Goods at Citation. Jaffa (Regulation) (Amendment) Order (No. 2), 1935, and the Importation of Goods at Jaila (Regulation) Order, 1934, (here inafter called the principal Order) the Importation ol Goods at Jaila (Regulation) (Amendment) Order, 1935, and this Order may together be cited as the Importation of Goods at Jaffa Orders, 1934 to (No. 2) 1935. » 2. Acting Chief Secretary, (K/64/33) - m - MUNICIPAL CORPORATIONS ORDINANCE, 4934. BY-LAWS MADE BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF TEL AVIV UNDER SECTION 99. IN EXERCISE of the powers vested in them by section 99 of the Municipal Corporations Ordinance, 193 i, the Municipal Council of Tel Aviv have made the following by-laws : — 1. These by-laws mav be cited as the Ted Aviv Municipal Bathing Citation. By-laws, 1935. 2. In these by-laws, unless the context otherwise requires:— Interpretation. "Sea-shore" means the area between the northern boundary of Jaffa and the Yarkon (Auja) River, and between the sea, at a distance of 150 yards from the beach, and Hayarkon Street. "Bathing-costume" means a complete bathing garment or a combination of garments sufficient effectually to prevent the indecent exposure of the person of the bather. "Council" means the Municipal Council of Tel Aviv. "Superintendent" means any officer duly appointed by the Mayor of Tel Aviv to be superintendent on the sea-shore, or any of his assistants so appointed. "Life-saver" means any person appointed by the Mayor of Tel Aviv to be superintendent of a life-saving station, or any of his assistants so appointed. "Person" includes any child of either sex of six years of age or older. "Child" means a child of either sex under six years. "Animal" includes cattle, sheep, goats, camels, horses, mules, donkeys, swine, poultry, cats, monkeys, bears, but does not include dogs. "Vehicle" means any vehicle as defined in section 2 of the Road Transport Ordinance, 1929. "Cart" means any cart which is not a vehicle and includes hawkers' or porters' barrows, but does not include perambulators. 882 — "Public-place" includes footway, café, restaurant, public omnibus or any other public or private place to which the public have free admission. (2) No person shall undress or dress on the sea-shore, except in special places provided for that purpose by or with the per• mission of the Council, provided that any person may on the sea-shore take off or put on a bathing gown. (3) A child may wear bathing shorts only, and dress or undress on the sea-shore. Special places 4.—(1) The Council may from time to time fix on the sea- for bathing, etc. shore' (a) special bathing places for either sex, or otherwise; (b) special bathing places for persons and children attending schools, kindergartens, children's or babies' homes; (e) special bathing places for persons or children affected with whooping-cough ; (d) special places for games and surf boats; (e) special places for beaching boats; (f) special places for bathing of animals. (2) The Council shall, by notice in the three official languages, designate any special place, and specify the bathing hours, and special conditions, as prescribed by the Council under the pre• ceding sub-section.
