Sean Nós dancing in the Parish Centre: Gearoid Devane renowned All Ireland Sean Nós Dancer will be holding 6/8 week course of Sean Nós dancing in Lackagh Parish Centre starting next Monday 1st July 6-7pm. On teaching the art of Sean Nós dancing it will be followed by a concert in August. as part of the celebration of Heritage Week. All are welcome. The workhouse was the last resort of the destitute poor from the 1840’s to the 1920’s. Ever wondered what was life like in the workhouse?
