Transfer Policy

Transfers are purchasable for $0.50 when you pay your full fare at time of boarding. Discount transfers for eligible seniors and persons with disabilities are available for $0.25. You can only use transfers once within two hours of purchase, regardless of direction. accepts paper transfers from other participating regional agencies. Transfers loaded onto TAP cards are available to customers with TAP cards. Paper transfers are also available. Transfers on TAP cards are valid on Foothill Transit, Metro and other participating regional agencies. TAP Transfer acceptance will expand as more agencies join the TAP program. Foothill Transit transfers are worth the dollar value of the customer's local fare ($1.25 for non-discount fares, $0.50 for seniors and disabled customers). Customers wishing to use a transfer to board the , Lines 481 and 690, or Commuter Express service must pay the difference.

Only the full cash fare of $4.90, the Foothill Transit 31-Day Commuter Express Pass, and the EZ transit P5 pass are good for use on Commuter Express lines. Interagency transfers are worth $1.25 on Commuter Express. OCTA and Omnitrans Policy: Monthly passes, day passes, and transfers from OmniTrans and OCTA are accepted as one Adult Local Fare at the following locations: OmniTrans bus at Indian Hill Blvd. and Holt Ave. OmniTrans bus at OmniTrans bus at Pomona TransCenter OCTA bus at Beach and La Habra OCTA bus at Brea Mall Customers wishing to board the Silver Streak, Lines 481 or 690, or Commuter Express service must pay the difference.
