Fusion Reborn is the twelfth movie in the Dragonball Z series and the first one theatrically released in the United States. This film follows former enemies and now allies Goku and Vegeta as they battle the evil monster Janemba. Janemba has released evil energy across the earth causing the dead to rise. Can Goku and Vegeta unite to defeat their toughest foe yet? 1995 Japan rated PG 55 minutes Friday July 25 6:30pm Shinobi A live-action ninja movie featuring two rising stars of Japanese cinema- Joe Odagiri and Yukie Nakama. Shinobi is about two rival ninja clans, the Koga and the Iga, who have honed their skills to super human levels. The clans co-exist in peace through a precarious truce in Ieyasu Tokugawa’s Edo era Japan. When Lord Tokugawa grows to fear the clans’ power, he pits them against each other in hopes of destroying them both. But the offspring of the clans’ chieftains have fallen in love and have plans to unite the clans when they inherit the thrones. This visually stunning martial arts action film has been a hit with audiences around the globe. The story of Shinobi comes from the book “The Koga Ninja Scrolls” which was adapted into a comic book in 2003. 2005 Japan rated PG 107 minutes Friday August 29 6:30pm Death Note A live action film based on the extremely popular manga, starring Tatsuya Fujiwara from the Battle Royale films. The Death Note is a notebook of the gods of death. Anyone whose name is written in it will die. A mischievous death god named Ryuk decides to put his death note into the hands of humans and see what happens. Luckily the death note is found by the pure hearted Light Yagami who uses the death note’s power to kill off powerful criminals.
