John Fenner, Mike Daly & Tommy Evans @ "The Clubhouse" Bar & Dining John Fenner John Fenner studied with Michael Ward at the London School of Music. His first professional work was on Ocean Liners when 17 years old. After 6 Years at sea, he worked at Quaglinos, The Cafe de Paris and Showboat in London. His Jazz career includes Recoding with American greats Bud Freeman and Wild Bill Davison. He was with Kenny Ball and his Jazzmen for 16 years, recording some 13 Albums with the Band. He played at Buckingham Palace with Kenny Ball for Prince Charles and Princess Diana. John lives in St Johns Town of Dalry, Scotland. Mike Daly Mike has been playing professionally since he was 17 and has become one of the most tasteful and exciting cornet players on the UK jazz scene. His style has been influenced by players such as Bobby Hackett and Ruby Braff and one visiting American jazz critic, after hearing him at the Edinburgh Jazz Festival, claimed he was the closest thing to Bix Beiderbecke! Apart from working on the jazz scene, Mike has performed with various show bands and backed cabaret throughout the UK, including a variety of artists such as Dame Edna Everidge, Bucks Fizz and Rod Stewart. He is also the founding member of the popular Dixieland band The Rhythm Kings. Tommy Evans Tommy Evans has been the "Backbone" of Pro Jazz Double Bass players for over 50 Years. He has toured with a plethora of great American players and this illustrious list includes: Billy Butterfield, Dave McKenna, Bob Wilbur, Sonny Stitt and Joe Temperley.
