Learn Spanish at the Instituto Cervantes in Leeds

How to enrol online Enrol and get one year access to our library Students who enrol to one of our courses will get a library card -valid for 1 year- for the Jorge Edwards library of the Instituto Cervantes in Leeds and Manchester. Its catalogue includes textbooks and grammar books, but also the best Spanish and Latin American literature (novels, poetry books and plays), films, music and more.
This card will also grant you access to our Online Library, which includes thousands of bibliographic references. There is an Instituto Cervantes free app for Windows, iOs and Google Play.

How to enrol to a Spanish course Check your level of Spanish STEP01 If you already know some Spanish but you are a new student at the IC Leeds, get an assessment of your current knowledge in order to be assigned to the most appropiate course for you. The result might be in between two levels. In that case, contact us. Complete beginners should start by A1.1 - Elementary 1.
STEP02 Choose a course Do you know what's the level you should take? Time to choose a course on our programme! You will find Once a week, Twice a week & other special courses, either in the morning, afternoon or evening time.
STEP03 The payment To book a place, we need payments to be done upfront. You can reserve a course either: By PayPal, on our online shop - access through our website or by clicking on the ref. number in this leaflet. (More instructions here) By card, on the phone 0113 246 1741 By bank transfer - contact us for our bank details.
STEP04 Final arrangements Now you will only need to get the textbook and install Zoom on your device. We recommend not purchasing any materials until the course is confirmed to go ahead. We only contact students to inform them about cancellations, but you can contact us at any time to ask. STEP05 Enjoy the course! Your teacher will send you a link to the class session in Zoom with some time in advance. Get a drink, grab a pen and some paper, and enjoy learning Spanish! DELE A2 & B1 Schedule to be arranged with the tutor £250
Price includes: Five 30 minute one-to-one sessions with the tutor via videoconference. Correction and feedback of 10 pieces of written work. 20 hours of independent online learning. Fee for the DELE exam is not included in the price of this course.
