For Patients Travelling to Obeid Dental: Obeid Dental is located at 8401 Connecticut Avenue in Chevy Chase, Maryland and is convenient to several modes of travel. BY AIR: The office is geographically closest and most accessible to Reagan National Airport (DCA), which connects to the city’s Metrorail system (RED LINE). From there, a short ride on the RED LINE metro towards SHADY GROVE to the BETHESDA STATION will bring you quickly to vicinity of our office. Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI) and Dulles International Airport (IAD) are equidistant from the office, approximately 45 minutes by car. If these are your arrival airports, we suggest using ride service to bring you to our office or your accommodations. BY RAIL: AMTRAK stop UNION STATION connects to the city’s Metrorail system (RED LINE). From there, a short ride on the RED LINE metro towards SHADY GROVE to the BETHESDA STATION will bring you quickly to vicinity of our office. BY METRO RAIL: Once you arrive at the BETHESDA STATION on the Metrorail system. Our office is approximately 4 miles from the station. For your convenience there is complimentary running directly between our office and the Bethesda metro. ACCOMMODATIONS: Depending on your travel arrangements and length of treatment, you may find it prudent to book an overnight stay at a hotel. We recommend the Hyatt Regency Bethesda or the Residence Inn Bethesda, which are within walking distance of the BETHESDA Metrorail station on the RED LINE. Another option is the Bethesda Marriott, which is within walking distance of the WHITE FLINT Metrorail station on the RED LINE. All hotels offer complimentary guest shuttle services to our office. These services can be coordinated by hotel concierge staff. DINING: We strive to ensure our patients feel comfortable before, during and after their procedures. Understandably, travelling patients may need dining options during their time at our office. If so, we are happy to provide menus for local restaurants including Tavira (located within the same building) or Manoli Canoli (located across the street) to coordinate delivery of lunch or post-procedure meal. Dr Obeid will provide guidance regarding what foods should be avoided immediately after a procedure. .
