PETZ ERNŐ: European energy policy is awaiting for a radical change . 3 The common energy and climate policy of Europe is deeply imbued with the German Energiewende. But it seems to be increasingly unsustainable – even for its earlier promoters – because of the huge costs and investments. The paper explores the reasons. DR. SZILÁGYI ZSOMBOR: The COVID-19 pandemic and the petroleum. 5 The coronavirus pandemic has impacted all countries of the world, the number of victims are still unknown and increasing. The costs of protection measures will crunch the budget of countries, millions of people will be unemployed, thousands of businesses will be broken. Petroleum is the most important energy fuel, one of the main motors of global economy. Among the effects of pandemic has appeared the collapse of petroleum mar- ket as well. Effects of pandemic may push climate-protection and alternative energy sources into the background for years. VANYA IMRE: 40 years of amphibian vehicles in the railway towing . 8 The paper summarizes the domestic development of railway amphibian tractors and special vehicles. The 400 machines produced have brought revolutionary changes in performance and working safety. DR. LADÁNYI GÁBOR: Technological challenges to optical identification of objects . 14 The paper deals with the object recognition and definition of object attributes by optical tools. It highlights the main problems during the optical object recognition. It focusses on recognizing those types of objects, which may be encountered during jobs of optical sorting of electronic waste. VERBŐCI JÓZSEF: Changes of Nature, renewable resources, generation of hydrocarbons under the crust (lithosphere) . 17 The crucial role of the biogenic content of sediment layers – algae, other animal remains, plants, and microor - ga nisms – in the hydrocarbon generation is emphasized in this paper. The organic matter of rocks subsides during subduction. The in-depth physico-chemical reactions between the organic matter and the water released from clay layers as well as the circulating groundwater may provide the continuous formation of hydrocarbons. Formed at great depths, the migration of hydrocarbons to the surface and to the geological and thermodynamic traps – based on the flows of the viscous mantle under the Earth-crust and on the difference of the bulk density within the medium – is primarily provided by the astronomical energy resource acting as the free-of-charge circulating pump, resulting from the orbital system of the Moon-Sun-Earth, the so-called solid and fluid tidal phenomena. My "rediscovered" concept is an alternative approach to biogenic origin. DR. KONCZ ISTVÁN: Genetics and migration modell of hydrocarbon accumulations surrounding Algyő fields . 23 Using geochemical data, the author attempts to establish source rocks of the accumulations surrounding Algyő fields (Dorozsma, Szeged, Ferencszállás and Ferencszállás E – Kiszombor). Each of the mentioned satellite fields contains hydrocarbons of Middle Miocene in origin. Migration happened from sub-basins locating W-SW directions from Algyő ridge. Solely, the field in Middle Miocene conglomerate of Dorozsma, which contains thermally immature hydrocarbons, can be considered as autochthonous in vertical sense. Dorozsma field in basement, Szeged field and Ferencszállás E – Kiszombor occurrences contain thermally mature hydrocarbons, which migrated along the Neogene – pre-Neogene unconformity, then formed accumulations. REMECZKI FERENC: Mathematical method for correcting the effect of micro-cracks occurring during the preparation of marl samples. 27 This paper attempts to introduce a novel approach for determining the flow conditions of failed samples from a highly compact unconventional hydrocarbon reservoir in the southeastern Hungarian calcareous marl formation under laboratory conditions. In American history whole libraries of such sources have appeared or are promised. These are chiefly in English, although the other languages of Europe are of course often largely represented. The employment of such sources from the early epochs of the world's history involves either a knowledge of ancient languages on the part of the user, or a complete rendition of the documents into English. No attempt has ever been made to collect and present all the sources of Egyptian history in a modem language. A most laudable beginning in this direction, and one that has done great service, was the Records of the Past; but that series never attempted to be complete, and no amount of editing could make con- sistent with themselves the uncorrected translations of the large number of contributors to that series.

Along with the free surface and the complex rheological behavior of the poly- meric liquid these flows are further complicated by wetting phenomena which occur at the attachment point of this free surface with a solid boundary where a three-phase juncture, or contact line, is formed. This thesis is concerned with developing accurate and convergent finite element simulations of steady, viscoelastic free-surface flows in domains with and without contact lines.

  • Pharaoh Chronology (Pdf)
Egypt's chronology in sync with the Holy Bible by Eve Engelbrite (c)2021, p1 Egypt's Chronology in Synchronization with the Bible This Egyptian chronology is based upon the historically accurate facts in the Holy Bible which are supported by archaeological evidence and challenge many assumptions. A major breakthrough was recognizing Joseph and Moses lived during the reigns of several pharaohs, not just one. During the 18th dynasty in which Joseph and Moses lived, the average reign was about 15 years; and Joseph lived 110 years and Moses lived 120 years. The last third of Moses' life was during the 19th dynasty. Though Rameses II had a reign of 66 years, the average reign of the other pharaohs was only seven years. Biblical chronology is superior to traditional Egyptian chronology Joseph was born in 1745 BC during the reign of Tao II. Joseph was 17 when he was sold into slavery (1728 BC), which was during the reign of Ahmose I, for the historically accurate amount of 20 pieces of silver.1 Moses (1571-1451 BC) was born 250 years after the death of the Hebrew patriarch, Abraham. Moses lived in Egypt and wrote extensively about his conversations and interactions with the pharaoh of the Hebrews' exodus from Egypt; thus providing a primary source. The history of the Hebrews continued to be written by contemporaries for the next thousand years. These books (scrolls) were accurately copied and widely disseminated. The Dead Sea Scrolls contained 2,000 year old copies of every book of the Bible, except Esther, and the high accuracy of these copies to today's copies in original languages is truly astonishing.

GREVEL & CO. 33 KING STREET, STRAND, W.C. 1904 Downloaded from https://www.holybooks.com PREFACE THE MS., dating from the third century A. D., which is here edited for the first time in a single whole, has long been known to scholars. Its subject-matter magic and medicine-is not destitute of interest. It is closely connected with the Greek magical papyri from Egypt of the same period, but, being written in demotic, naturally does not reproduce the Greek hymns which are so important a feature of those papyri. The influence of purely Greek mythology also is here by comparison very slight-hardly greater than that of the Alexandrian Judaism which has supplied a number of names of Hellenistic form to the demotic magician. Mithraism has apparently contributed nothing at all : Christianity probably only a deformed reference to the Father in Heaven. On the other hand, as might have been expected, Egyptian mythology has an overwhelm ingly strong position, and whereas the Greek papyri scarcely go beyond Hermes, Anubis, and the Osiris legend, the demotic magician introduces Khons, Amon, and many other Egyptian gods.

  • 19. the ICONOGRAPHY of ANCIENT ASTRONOMY © Asia
THE CANON OF ANCIENT NEAR EASTERN ART 19: THE ICONOGRAPHY OF ANCIENT ASTRONOMY 19. In preceding chapters of this book we have pieced together the main images of the Canon of Ancient Near Eastern Art (which we shall usually abbreviate by the acronym CANEA) by focusing on one recurring group in its sequence - the lion and prey symbol - not only to demonstrate its enduring significance over time, but also to use it as a prime indicator from which to build up a picture of its distribution and art historical phases. It was through its juxtaposition with a variety of other images that we were able to build up the likelihood of the existence of a canonical cycle of images that in part or in whole takes centre stage in Mesopotamian art over at least three millennia, and is probably as important an invention as writing was for the same period. My aim, once you have seen evidence, is to be able to decode CANEA iconography extremely easily. Only by knowing how to measure the year and monitor the pattern of days, months and years was it possible for the great agro-urban civilisations of the Fertile Crescent to manage the rising complexity of their trading interaction with lands around them.

THE CANON OF ANCIENT NEAR EASTERN ART CATALOGUES OF EVIDENCE A: THE BELLY LANDING 5. CATALOGUE A: THE BELLY LANDING ATTACK ©ASIA HALEEM 2015 DEFINITION OF THE BELLY LANDING ATTACK IN REAL-LIFE The feline attacks the victim fallen onto its back, mostly head to head, sometimes head to tail. Ill.5- 1: From the BBC 1 programme PREDATORS, shown 4 May 2000 - Radio Times From observing big cats catching prey on their back in real life, the situation only arises when the animal being chased is caught up with from behind, trips and rolls over. Such an instance is shown above in the case of a cheetah chasing a small buck. At this point the predatress leaps over its body to bite the victim’s throat, which is conveniently presented upwards to her jaws. In art, there is often a conflation of the moment in the chase where the helpless victim falls on its back, belly upwards, and the time split seconds afterwards when the big cat lunges to its victim’s neck to give it the death bite. INTRODUCTION TO THE CATALOGUE This first catalogue – with its comparatively small sample – provided the ideal size on which to work out the architecture for the best presentation of the evidence in the later, more complex catalogues. The material that follows, arranged in chronological order, should to a large extent speak for itself (all dates are BC). With seals it is usually their sealing that we illustrate (at times only the sealing survived anyway). Being the first of eight, this catalogue is the basis for the interleaving of later catalogue material to form the Amalgamated Catalogue.
