Master of Science The Physical Education Teaching concentration, approved by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing, prepares students Related Careers to teach and coach in K-12 schools. Teaching candidates complete Athletic Director a four-year degree program and a fifth year credential program, Corporate Wellness/ Fitness which includes student teaching. Humboldt’s physical education Specialist teacher education program provides opportunities to develop Exercise Leader professional and interpersonal skills with clinical teaching and Exercise Physiologist coaching experiences. Students are encouraged to participate Fitness Club Manager in a variety of recreation, education, and/or athletic programs in Health Educator order to gain a well-rounded background in knowledge and skill. Health/Fitness Instructor Completion of the Pre-Physical Therapy concentration provides Personal Trainer the academic requirements necessary to apply to a graduate Physical/Occupational program for physical therapy or other health professions such Therapist as occupational therapy, nursing, physician assistant programs, Scholar/Researcher medical school, or prosthetics and orthotics. Students also have Sports-Specific Trainer the opportunity to gain more knowledge and experience in the Strength & Conditioning physical therapy (and related) fields through a practica experience Specialist in local physical therapy clinics/settings.
