    GOTHIA TOUR EUROPEAN TOUR Norway, Sweden & Denmark Since 1988 United Soccer Academy has been providing youth players and teams from across the United States with quality opportunities and experiences to travel and compete internationally. The European Tour is a specially designed and coordinated tour for international soccer travel and competition. The goal of the United Soccer Academy Select Tour is to provide select players with an excellent soccer playing experience and opportunity to travel and compete in Norway, Sweden and Denmark. This tour will provide players with a top-notch, professionally coordinated soccer tour from training with Norges Fotballforbund (Football Association of Norway) staff coaches to friendly matches to tournament competition in the Gothia Cup, which is the world’s largest youth international tournament with over 1,750 teams from 70 different countries. GENERAL PROGRAM Day 1 Excitement builds as players, staff, and boosters depart a US gateway city on an overnight flight to Oslo, Norway for their 11-day soccer tour to Norway, Sweden, and Denmark with participation in the Gothia Cup. Due to the time differences between Europe and the United States the group will arrive in Norway the following morning. Day 2 Upon arrival at Oslo Airport, Gardermoen (OSL), the group will be met by their bi-lingual United Soccer Academy tour representative. Transfer to hotel accommodations with players, staff, and boosters accommodated at Scandic Fornebu, which is located just outside of Oslo, the capital of Norway. Following check-in at the hotel the teams will have a light training session at Snarøya Sportsklubb. Welcome dinner and meeting at the hotel with the reminder of the evening at leisure.
