ApplicationFor the College A Cappella Competition EVENT DATE: Saturday, April 18, 2020 EVENT LOCATION & TIME: Carlisle Theatre at 7 pm Judged by a panel of musical experts and MC’d by local television personalities from abc27 2020 COLLEGE A CAPPELLA COMPETITION: • One day competition runs from 7 pm to 10 pm - Eight (8) selected, premier college a cappella groups from the region will be competing against each other for the top 3 spots. Completed Application Form - All entries will be notified via email that their submission has been received. If for some reason you do not hear from us, please contact us! 2. 2 or more Audition Video(s)/Audio Link(s) or recordings - ICCA videos are acceptable NOTES: • All groups must sing a cappella. • No entrance fee to enter competition. • Applicants will receive a confirmation email one your application is received. Registrants will reviewed on a rolling basis. All applicants will hear from us as to the status of their application. We will be selecting the top 8 groups from our applications to compete, as well as, 2 alternates in the event of unforeseen illness or ICCA advancement. • SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES: ICCA competitors may apply and be accepted with the understanding that should you advance in ICCA’s and need to withdraw your application, that will be acceptable. • An informational competition packet will be sent with details after acceptance. • The final line-up time slots will be sent 1 week prior to competition. • Your initial competition performance set should be 7- 9 minutes must not exceed 9 minutes. • Top 3 scoring groups will perform a 2nd set of 7- 9 minutes must not exceed 9 minutes Awards also given for: Choreography, Percussion and Soloist • Hosted by & proceeds to benefit: • More details at: uwcarlisle.org/events/glee United Way of Carlisle • Questions: [email protected] & Cumberland County
