NEW SENIOR MANAGEMENT APPOINTMENTS AT PRIVATE BANKING AND PRAMERICA SGR

• Massimo Mazzini appointed new Chief Executive Officer of Pramerica SGR

• Andrea Ghidoni appointed new General Manager of Intesa Sanpaolo Private Banking

Milan, 21 January 2021 – Intesa Sanpaolo, to enhance the value of internal resources and provide management continuity within the two businesses, announces some changes in top management of the Group’s two wealth management companies.

The Board of Directors of Pramerica SGR, which met on 18 January and was chaired by Saverio Perissinotto, Head of the Group’s Asset Management Division, has appointed Massimo Mazzini as the new Chief Executive Officer of the asset management company with effect from 21 January 2021. Massimo Mazzini joined the Intesa Sanpaolo Group in 2007 and over the years he has taken on several managerial positions in the Asset Management Division while also coordinating Eurizon’s international expansion strategies. He is also the Chairman of Eurizon Capital Asia, Eurizon’s subsidiary in Hong Kong, and a member of the Board of Directors of Penghua, one of the leading Chinese asset managers of which Eurizon holds 49%. Mazzini also continues in his role as Head of Marketing and Business Development at Eurizon. Massimo Mazzini stated: “ It is with great satisfaction that I take this new role within a dynamic and successful company like Pramerica. I am convinced that we will achieve great goals together in the coming months. ” The Board of Directors of Intesa Sanpaolo Private Banking - which met the 21 st of January - chaired by Professor Giampio Bracchi , appointed Andrea Ghidoni as General Manager of the company. Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Pramerica SGR since 2015, Andrea Ghidoni previously held management positions at UBI Banca where he was Head of the Group Organisation Area and Head of Managerial Development. He also worked at Bain &

Company as a strategic consultant to leading Italian banking groups after starting his career as a Chartered Accountant.
