AAS Illustration This degree is designed to help each student develop a portfolio of market-ready work in the area of Illustration. Illustrators create artwork to tell a story or communicate a speci c message. Illustrators bring conceptual ideas to books, animations, concept art, graphic novels, magazines, advertisements, posters, and websites, etc. Illustrators often work as freelance artists, collaborating with designers and publishing companies, or selling their work in galleries or on the web. Students will develop the ability to draw, design, incorporate text with imagery, use design software, and communicate e ectively with a visual image or series of images.
