The company is led by Leonardo Saladini, a master knife maker, and Giacomo Cecchi, one of Italy’s most talented cutlery designers. Saladini’s beautiful Italian designs and unique high quality materials are the basis for an outstanding cutlery collection.
Saladini professional grade table knives are handmade of advanced, high quality, high carbon European 420B stainless steel forged and tempered to 1065C for excellent hardness and resistance to use and corrosion. Forged blades, bolsters and tangs have a Rockwell hardness rating of 55-57HRC for an optimum balance of hardness and flexibility. Sculpted handles of rich Mediterranean olive wood and polished ox-horn create a unique and luxurious look and are extremely comfortable in the hand of the amateur or professional chef. Saladini knives use a hidden tang to prevent bacteria and water intrusion typical of riveted knives. The company guarantees its products against defects excluding accidental damage or misuse.
Knife sets are packaged in elegant natural color wooden gift boxes that are perfect for storage. Individual knives are packaged in elegant sturdy black card gift boxes with molded inserts.
