Most recently, Murdoch stood up in the House on November 19, 2009 to The Travelling Press call on the Minister of Transportation to get working on Highway 6. The Bruce Peninsula Press arrives at the Grand Canyon, Arizona this past winter with Ruth & Don Smith “I commended then-minister Jim and Ruth & Carl Bailey Bradley on all the work he was doing between Brampton and Orangeville and reminded him that he needed to keep going north of there,” Murdoch said. “I told him winter was fast approaching and it wouldn’t be enough for him to tell my constituents they just need to be prepared, stay alert and drive according to road and weather conditions.” The governments of Canada and Ontario will each contribute nearly $69.4 million towards fixing Ontario’s highways, roads and bridges.
