River swimming here is suitable for the adventurous and experienced. There is no beach or place to wade in gradually. Just jump in! Located north of Kimberley on County Road 13 at the river access point. Eugenia Lake Eugenia Lake has a good wide swimming area for families with small children to enjoy with trees providing shaded sections. The lake bottom is a bit rocky. It’s easier to wade out to swimming depth with water shoes. A popular spot in hot weather. Located off County Road 13, turn east on Canrobert to the boat launch. Flesherton Pond Many inland lakes and streams have been stocked with rainbow trout. Flesherton pond is Rivers & Lakes no exception. There’s a beach area, pavilion and suitable swimming for families. Township of Chatsworth • Municipality of Grey Highlands • Township of Southgate 29 It is important for all aspects of health for kids to include vegetables and fruit into their day. While most kids are not meeting the recommended 5 servings a day of vegetables and fruit, there are many ways we can improve that.

Include at least one serving of vegetable or fruit at breakfast, What's a serving? lunch and dinner People may understand that vegetables and fruit are a healthy choice. But many do not know what a serving looks like. Canada's Food Guide offers these examples of serving sizes from common vegetables and fruit.

One serving of vegetables can include: Aim for each 125 mL (1/2 cup) or 1 ear of corn snack through 125 mL (1/2 cup) or 4 florets of cauliflower/broccoli 125 mL (1/2 cup) or 1 large carrot the day to include 125 mL (1/2 cup) or 6 spears of asparagus a veggie or fruit 125 mL (1/2 cup) or cooked fresh, frozen or canned vegetables such as beans, carrots, okra, bok choy or squash 250 mL (1 cup) of raw leafy greens such as lettuce, kale or spinach Frozen, canned, 125 mL (1/2 cup) of tomato or tomato sauce or fresh - they all One serving of fruits can include: can be used

1 medium apple, orange, peach, pear or banana 20 cherries or grapes 125 mL (1/2 cup) of fresh or frozen berries, melons, mango or plantain
