Also Dorcadion praetermissum mikhaili ssp. n. is described in the text. KEY WORDS: Dorcadion, Neodorcadion, Dorcadiini, Lamiinae, Cerambycidae, Coleoptera, Turkey. The main aim of this work is to clarify current status of the tribe Dorcadiini in Turkey. The work on Turkish Dorcadiini means to realize a study on about one third or one fourth of Turkish Cerambycidae fauna. As the same way, Turkish Dorcadiini is almost one second or one third of Dorcadiini in the whole world fauna. Turkish Dorcadiini is a very important group. This importance originated from their high endemism rate, and also their number of species. However, the information on all Turkish Dorcadiini is not enough. The first large work on Dorcadiini species was carried out by Ganglbauer (1884). He evaluated a total of 152 species of the genus Dorcadion and 13 species of the genus Neodorcadion. He gave 30 Dorcadion species and 4 Neodorcadion species for Turkey. Then, the number of Turkish Dorcadion species raised to 53 with 23 described species by Heyden (1894), Ganglbauer (1897), Jakovlev (1899), Daniel (1900, 1901), Pic (1895, 1900, 1901, 1902, 1905, 1931), Suvorov (1915), Plavilstshikov (1958). -

The new species belongs to the D. divisum species group. It is compared to three other similar species known to occur in Continental Europe (D. divisum dissimile, D. subinterruptum, D. granigerum) and a key is provided to separate them. One specimen was found on the mountain Besna Kobila near Vranje, not far from the border with Macedonia. KLJUŒNE BESEDE: Coleoptera, Cerambycidae, Dorcadion, favna, Srbija The family Cerambycidae consists of 11 subfamilies with around 20,000 species distributed worldwide. The genus Dorcadion with more than 350 species belongs to the subfamily Lamiinae and has Palaearctic distribution (Harde, 1998). Preadult development is attached to different types of soil. Larvae feed on grass roots. Adult beetles are wingless and can be found on roads along grasslands in spring and summer (Baur et al., 2002). Species Dorcadion (Pedestrodorcadion) kaimakcalanum was first described by Ø. Jureœek in 1929. Type locality is Macedonia, Kaimak-calan, Alpine Region. The species was so far found in Macedonia and Greece (Sama, 2004). During field work in July of 2010 on southeast Serbian mountain Besna Kobila [42°31’46”N, 22°13’50”E, 1923 m], 35 km east from Vranje, one specimen of this species was found. -

It gives an annotated list of the Cerambycoidea [Cerambycidae (Dorcadioninae)] that originally described from Turkey, with some important synonyms. A series work is planned that is aim to expose the Turkish Cerambycoidea described from Turkey originally as possible as detailed and entirely by beginning from Vesperidae to Cerambycidae (Özdikmen, 2012a,b). The present study that includes the subfamily Dorcadioninae, is attempted as the third step of this aim. Although, The Turkish Dorcadioninae was evaluated by Özdikmen (2010) in detailed. For each species, subspecies or important synonym, the original combination and type locality are provided under the taxon names. Overview on the Chrysomeloidea Superfamily (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae, Orsodacnidae, Chrysomelidae) in Dobrogea (Romania)

The study represents a synthesis about the distribution of the species from superfamily Chrysomeloidea in Dobruja (Dobrogea) region (South-eastern Romania). 407 species from 132 genera and 15 subfamilies are recorded, based on the published data and on the study of material preserved in the collections of the “Grigore Antipa” National Museum of Natural History (Bucharest) and the Institute of Biology Bucharest of the Romanian Academy. The species Lilioceris lilii (Scopoli), Oulema erichsonii (Suffrian), Euluperus cyaneus (Joannis) and Altica quercetorum quercetorum Foudras are mentioned for the first time in fauna of Dobrogea. Some endemic species are highlighted: Vadonia hirsuta (K. Daniel & J. Daniel), Dorcadion equestre transsilvanicum Ganglbauer, D. gashtarovi Sama, Dascălu & Pesarini, D. axillare Küster and Brachyta balcanica Hampe. Rosalia alpina alpina Linnaeus, Morimus asper funereus Mulsant and Cerambyx cerdo cerdo Linnaeus are protected species, included in the annexes of the Council Directive 92/43/EEC on the conservation of natural habitats and wild fauna and flora. Also, Brachyta balcanica Hampe, Pedostrangalia verticalis Germar and Neodorcadion exornatum (Frivaldsky von Frivald) are species of national interest requiring strict protection, listed in the Government Emergency Ordinance no. 57/2007 on the regime of natural protected areas, the conservation of natural habitats, wild fauna and flora. This study aims to assess the abundance and diversity of Cerambycid beetles (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) in different types of habitats (urbanized, natural oak forest, herbaceous and mixed forest) of the Zselic region in Hungary. Beetles were collected by sweep netting and hand collecting. Species richness and diversity were analyzed for the different habitats. Temporal data also contributed to a better knowledge of the flight period and ecology of the captured species and specimens. A total of 69 species were identified during the sampling period (2009–2013). The period of adult flight activity was from the second week of May until the second week of June. Plagionotus arcuatus L., Dorcadion aethiops Scopoli and Strangalia melanura Fabricius were the most abundant species. The most diverse habitat type was mixed forest (Simpson Index= 0.9443; Shannon Index= 1.4373), and the least diverse one was the urbanized environment (Simpson Index= 0.4141; Shannon Index= 0.5111). The differences in diversity might be explained by the heterogeneity of potential host plants available in the different habitats. Correspondence and cluster analyses revealed that different habitats were associated with distinct beetle assemblages. -

Dorcadion Pseudopreissi (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae), a New Turf Pest in Turkey, the Bio-Ecology, Population Fluctuation and Damage on Different Turf Species

The pest increased in numbers and spread naturally into new areas such as urban landscape, home lawns and football fields. Its abundance has been appeared to have increased surprisingly in the past decades and then it has caused economic damage on the turf areas. Thus, the beetle has become a major pest in turf areas of Bursa. This study was investigated to establishment the bio-ecology of D. pseudopreissi on Lolium perenne L. during 2007 and 2008 and the damage levels of the turf pest on different turf species namely L. perenne, Poa pratensis L., Festuca rubra L., F. arundinacea Schreb and Agrostis stolonifera L. (Poaceae) in field conditions during 2007-2008. Depending on weather conditions, adults emerge from the soil in mid or late March and are sexually active for ca. 1-1.5 month until middle or early May. The larvae hatch in early June, feed on grass roots during June- mid August. In damage experiments, F. arundinacea was significantly less damaged than all other turf species in the 2007 year. -
