This book covered more than just G-Funk, but went far back into the West-Coast hip-hop scene in the Bay Area.I loved the album reviews too, definitely a book to read with youtube or spotify close at hand.Highly recommended
Everybody talks about Gangsta Rap. It was shocking, brutal and revolutionary. It was also the launching pad for some of the biggest names in hip-hop.
