The Anzère Tourism team wishes you a pleasant hike on the hiking trails of the region. Built in 1442, the Bisse d'Ayent draws its water directly from the Lienne river 1 below the imposing dam wall. The bisse irrigates the pastures and vineyards GRAND of Ayent and Grimisuat, either in the traditional way or by spray irrigation, and ends up in Revouire lake. To reach it, you start your hike on the wall of Tseuzier Dam and then head down into the Lienne valley until you meet the bisse. From BISSE D'AYENT here you can marvel at a piece of history and see the incredible work done by our forefathers, some of whom lost their lives building these canals to the vineyards below. Postal buses can be taken at various points on the route. An extraordinary hike between Tseuzier Dam and the Mayens d'Arbaz. The municipality of Sion built the Bisse de Sion between 1901 and 1903 to channel water from the Lienne river to the Sionne river. At its 2 BISSE DE SION start, the Bisse de Sion crosses the Lourantze stream over a wooden aqueduct. It then runs alongside Tseuzier lake and leaves the Rawyl cirque through a series of tunnels. The source of the Bisse de Sion lies beneath the waterfalls of the Lienne near to the Gîte de Lourantze, where you can grab a bite to eat.
