I don't know about last year but this years formal com mittee got off to a slow start. Some of you might say "'slow? I didn't know you'd started!" But alas, we have.

Fund raising events such as Pancake Jay, Chip day, Cake stalls and selling chocolate coated almonds weren't great successes but did help in contributing to our funds.

The formal is going to be held at the National Con vention Centre on Thursday November 30th with a chicken and champagne breakfast to be held at Juli anna's (Lakeside).

A special thankyou to all those who helped in getting the committee off the ground and keeping it that way. No need to mention names-you know who you are. And to those who didn't help -you know who you are.

Hope we all enjoy our for mal, needless to say we de serve it!!!!!
