The Your Future Degree Taster Days (YFDTD) start on the 4th November with The School of Architecture, Computing and Engineering (ACE). A team of academics will run sessions in Computing, Architecture, Engineering & Visual Arts to give prospective students an introduction to their subject at degree level. Our weekly webinars for year 10 – year 13 (FE 1/2) are designed to support your students' HE futures so they can decide what’s best for them and to make informed decisions from HE Myth busting to Personal Statements. This Thursday's session is How to Choose a course at University level and runs at 11am and 4pm. We have also recently launched a resources page where you can find recordings of previous pre 16 webinars and downloadable resources.

Your Future Degree Taster Days HE Ready, Career Ready, Future Ready!

The Your Future Degree Taster days are ideal for Year 13/FE 2 students to support with choosing a degree course and completing their UCAS applications. As a Careers led university the online sessions will include a careers panel, interactive subject tasters, course information, a student life Q&A and future planning activities, with students being able to select from over 20 subjects to explore! All six of UEL’s Academic schools will feature across this series of events.

Students can register for themselves or you can register a class of students for your school for any of our taster days. We recommend that teachers/career leads register a class to ensure that students can attend the full day of sessions. Furthermore, with each classroom booking, we will arrange a meeting with you to find out how we can support you beyond the Your Future Degree Taster Day with bespoke sessions in collaboration with our world class academics!

You’ll be able to select up to three subject preferences. Students will receive ONE subject in the AM and ONE subject taster in the PM when you register online.
