Maracaibo, Founder, Artistic Director, and Professor The Nuevo Mundo Festival and Academy has held more than 200 summer concerts, 25 Music and Art Conferences, 1 Opera, 2 Violin competitions and 2 Art Exhibitions. It has received more than 40000 attendants, more than 1800 students and more than 200 guest artists from: Venezuela, , Russia, , , the United States of America, Switzerland, Cuba, , , , , Australia, , Hungary, , Puerto Rico, and . The FANM strings orchestra did an international tour: 11 concerts throughout Colombia teaching more than 800 Colombian kids. It has also presented concerts in the 9th more important venues in Maracaibo city and the recognized Teatro Teresa Carreno in . The FANM (Spanish initials for Nuevo Mundo Festival and Academy) has been sponsor of Concerts in Argentina and Venezuela, sponsor of the First Encounter of Latin-American Musicians in Morelia, Mexico and several tours and CDs for Venezuelan music groups as well as served as a mediator for scholarships in Europe to music students from Venezuela.
