Bannon doubled home Jeren Kendall on his first of four hits and Omar Estevez scored Bannon on a single to retake a 4-2 Inland Empire 0 2 .000 2.0 advantage. An RBI single from Bannon in the fifth proved to be the game-winning hit as Heath Quinn smashed a two-run homer in the sixth for the Giants, cutting the game to 5-4. Marshall Kasowski recorded a six out save and May secured his third win of the season. * First-Half Division Winner STAT STUFFERS: The Quakes finished near the top in a number of primary offensive categories during the first-half schedule. Rancho slugged a league-leading 81 home runs while scoring 354 total runs and amassing 324 RBI, second among the field. Third CAL LEAGUE SCOREBOARD baseman Rylan Bannon finished second in the league with 15 total home runs and Cristian Santana drove in a league-leading 44 RBI. Yesterday ALL-STAR QUAKES: The Rancho Cucamonga Quakes were represented quite well in this year's edition of the All-Star Game, Inland Empire 4 at Lancaster 15 as seven players headed to Lancaster for the annual event. Of the seven players, three of them were in the starting lineup as Rylan Lake Elsinore 5 at Visalia 3 Bannon started at third base, Connor Wong started at catcher and Logan Landon covered right field. Gavin Lux was also named a San Jose 4 at Rancho Cucamonga 5 starter to the team but due to injury was unable to play. Omar Estevez was a late addition to the All-Star team, filling the spot of Lux. FIRST-HALF CHAMPS: The Quakes put together an impressive stretch of winning over the final three weeks of the season en route to their first-half championship. RHP Nathan Witt and INF Nick Yarnall were both placed on the Disabled List. On Tuesday, RHP Stetson Allie was transferred from Rancho Cucamonga to Double-A Tulsa of the Texas League. RHP Nathan Witt was transferred from Extended Spring Training in Arizona to Rancho Cucamonga. CURRY ON THE BUMP: RHP Parker Curry (4-1) is scheduled to make his third start on the season and 19th overall appearance Tomorrow for the Quakes today. Curry was added to the starting rotation on June 11th following the promotion of Andrew Sopko to double-A Inland Empire at Lancaster, 2:05 PM Tulsa. Also earning promotion to Tulsa this season, Curry made two starts for the Drillers in the Texas League (6/1, 6/6) and allowed San Jose at Rancho Cucamonga, 2:05 PM four earned runs on 13 hits across seven total innings. The right-hander last pitched on June 16th at Inland Empire, going 2.2 innings Lake Elsinore at Visalia, 6:00 PM and allowing four earned runs in a no-decision. The Birmingham, AL native was a non-drafted free agent out of Samford University Modesto at Stockton, 6:10 PM and signed with the Dodgers in 2017. OPPOSING PITCHER: RHP Raffi Vizcaino (4-4) is scheduled to make his 13th start tonight and 14th overall appearance for San Jose in game three of the series.
