This is the final of six total games between the two clubs over a seven day stretch, with the first 2018 1ST HALF STANDINGS three match-ups taking place at LoanMart Field in Rancho Cucamonga. This is the third series played at The Hangar for Rancho NORTH W L PCT GB during the first-half schedule. SOUTH W L PCT GB LAST TIME OUT: The Lancaster JetHawks received some good starting pitching and unlike Tuesday's series-opener, got some Lake Elsinore 30 29 .508 - solid work out of the bullpen, holding off the Quakes on Wednesday night at The Hangar, winning 6-4. That's as close as the Quakes would get though, as Lawrence came on in the eighth after a Logan Landon double, getting Thomas to ground out to end the inning before working a 1-2-3 ninth. CAL LEAGUE SCOREBOARD GROUNDING THE HAWKS: On the offensive end, Gavin Lux and Rylan Bannon have shown the most success against Lancaster Sunday pitching this season. Lux is batting .395 (17-for-43) with five doubles, four home runs and 12 RBI's to go along with a team-high OBP Stockton 11 at San Jose 1 of .458. Bannon is batting .318 (14-for-44) with a team-high seven home runs and a slugging percentage of .909. CURRENT STREAKS: Rylan Bannon has reached on a hit in ten of his last eleven games and is currently on an eleven-game on-base streak. Jeren Kendall has reached on a hit in seven of his last nine games. After homering in four consecutive games over a five-game hit streak, Gavin Lux was 0-for-5 on Wednesday, seeing his stretch come to a close. Filling Sopko's spot Inland Empire at Rancho Cucamonga, 7:05 PM of the roster, RHP Parker Curry has been transferred from Tulsa to Rancho Cucamonga. San Jose at Modesto, 7:05 PM KREMER WITH A "K": Dean Kremer (4-2) is scheduled to make his 13th start of the season for the Quakes and second start Visalia at Stockton, 7:10 PM against the JetHawks. Kremer pitched against Lancaster his last time out on 6/1 at LoanMart Field, allowing no runs on one hit over five innings and striking out nine in his fourth win of the season. Kremer has not allowed a run over his last two starts and surrenderd a single hit over 11 total innings.
