 Welcome  St. Barnabas Church is a Roman Catholic community of the Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter. The Ordinariate was established by Pope Benedict XVI in 2012 to preserve elements of the Anglican tradition within the in North America. Mass is celebrated according to Divine Worship, also known as the Ordinariate or Anglican Use liturgy.

All Catholics may fulfill their Sunday and holyday obligation, and may receive Holy Communion, at Ordinariate Masses.

Because Catholics believe that the celebration of the Eucharist is a sign of the reality of the oneness of faith, life, and worship, members of those churches with whom we are not yet fully united are ordinarily not admitted to Holy Communion. All who are not receiving Holy Communion are encouraged to express in their hearts a prayerful desire for unity with the Lord Jesus and with one another.

 ADDITIONAL SUNDAY & WEEKDAY MASSES, CONFESSION TIMES is now celebrated in the Lady Chapel on Sundays at 8:30 am. An additional weekday Mass is also offered on Thursday afternoons at 5:30 pm, preceded by Confessions at 5:00 pm. Finally, Mass is now offered every Saturday at 10 am (not just on the first Saturday of the month), with Confessions following until 11:15 am.

 NEW MONTHLY BOOK CLUB TO MEET MARCH 8 St. Barnabas will begin a monthly book discussion group, to meet on the second Thursday of the month at 6:30 pm in the rectory. The first meeting will be March 8, and our first book will be Strangers in a Strange Land: Living the Catholic Faith in a Post-Christian World, by Archbishop Charles J. Chaput.  FRIDAY LENTEN PROGRAM On Fridays in Lent, Stations of the Cross with Benediction of the will be offered at 6:00 pm, followed by a soup supper and a series of talks. The topic is the history and practice of the Sacrament of Penance (Reconciliation). Volunteers are needed to provide two (2) vegetarian soups each week; please contact the church office if you would like to volunteer.

 ANNUAL PARISH MEETING MARCH 11 The annual congregational meeting to elect members of the Pastoral Council will be held next Sunday, March 11, following the 10:30 am Mass. There will be a potluck lunch instead of brunch that day.
