Addition of Xining, China to Narita's International Network Pushes Number of Destinations to a Record 110!
Air China Opens New Narita - Xining route on 12 August !
Tokyo, 10 August 2016: Narita International Airport Corporation (NAA) is delighted to announce that Air China (IATA code: CA) will launch a service from Narita to Xining via Chengdu on 12 August 2016. Xining is the 20th city on Narita's China network and the 110th destination on its international network. (As of 12 August) The city is the capital of Qinghai Province in western China with a population of two million and its railway station, Xining Station, is known as a gateway to Tibet because it is the starting point of the Qinghai–Tibet Railway. Qinghai Lake to the west of Xining is the biggest salt lake in China covering an area six times the size of Lake Biwa, the largest lake in Japan, and the canola flower fields which spread along its shores are a popular tourist destination. Take advantage of Narita Airport's extensive air network which will soon be further expanded by Air China's Xining flights.
