Paul 3109 North Calvert Station, Side Apartment, Baltimore, MD 21218-3807, USA Received 20 April 2006; accepted in revised form 27 April 2007 Abstract Criteria for designating dinosaur genera are inconsistent; some very similar species are highly split at the generic level, other anatomically disparate species are united at the same rank. Since the mid-1800s the classic genus Iguanodon has become a taxonomic grab-bag containing species spanning most of the Early Cretaceous of the northern hemisphere. Recently the genus was radically redesignated when the type was shifted from nondiagnostic English Valanginian teeth to a complete skull and skeleton of the heavily built, semi-quadrupedal I. bernissartensis from much younger Belgian sediments, even though the latter is very different in form from the gracile skeletal remains described by Mantell. Currently, iguanodont remains from Europe are usually assigned to either robust I. bernissartensis or gracile I. atherfieldensis, regardless of lo- cation or stage. A stratigraphic analysis is combined with a character census that shows the European iguanodonts are markedly more morpho- logically divergent than other dinosaur genera, and some appear phylogenetically more derived than others. Two new genera and a new species have been or are named for the gracile iguanodonts of the Wealden Supergroup; strongly bipedal Mantellisaurus atherfieldensis Paul (2006. 13-Po07 Broadening of SLR Network in Chinese Mainland Li-ping JI Satellite Observatory, Chinese Academy of Surveying & Mapping (E-mail: [email protected]) A b s t r a c t Chinese mainland should broaden its SLR network ,to determine and check up the orbits of its Compass/Beidou satellites. At least 3 new stations should be located in west China's Urumqi, Xining and Lhasa. Three broadening plans of SLR network can be thought about ,and more mobile systems may be designed .Three methods can be used in overcoming its main difficulty. Satellite laser ranging, as a space technology to achieve the highest absolute accuracy of the distance measurement , has developed nearly half a century . In mainland China , geodesy, geodynamics , seismology and astronomy research departments , satellite laser ranging technology sustained attention to nearly four decades .In the distribution of China, satellite laser ranging stations , relative to its vast recovery , it is too sparse .This situation not only restricted the use of satellite laser ranging technology and development in these sectors , but also stagnated others’ technology sector pace. In Yousaf Butt’s literature(2007), China has five fixed stations and two mobile stations . Unfortunately , their operation is not entirely. In mainland China, the development of satellite laser ranging technology, on the last number , there are ups and downs and volatility , its rate of expansion and global positioning technology can not be in the same breath . Relative lack of talent, relatively backward technology, and economic constraints of the amount invested , are not conducive to widespread use of this technology. -

Based on the sixth population census data at township level, this article analyzes the population distribution of Henan province, China by the geological statistics method. The result shows that population distribution of Henan province could be divided into three types: low density in mountain areas, medium density in plain areas, and high density in urban regions. The variation functions have similar trends in the four directions of E-W, N-S, NE-SW, and NW-SE. When the distance is over 80km, the anisotropy enhances. The exponential model has the best fitting effect for the variation function. The interpolation results represent the gradient change process of population density intuitively. Terrain condition is the basic factor influencing on the population spatial pattern. High population density in urban regions are the outcomes of mutual effects between the superior geographical condition and socioeconomic development. Introduction Population distribution is a reflection of the human-earth relationship in a special space-time background. Understanding the population distribution and what determines this distribution is fundamental to understanding the relationships between humans and the environment [1]. With the advancement of modern space technology and geographic information processing technology, the study on Chinese population distribution has experienced from qualitative analysis and simple quantitative to spatial-temporal modeling [2]-[4]. -

Received: 27 May 2018; Accepted: 30 July 2018; Published: 3 August 2018 Abstract: Zircon U–Pb dating and Hf isotopic analyses are performed on clastic rocks, sedimentary tuff of the Dongchuan Group (DCG), and a diabase, which is an intrusive body from the base of DCG in the SW Yangtze Block. The results provide new constraints on the Precambrian basement and the Late Paleoproterozoic to Mesoproterozoic tectonic evolution of the SW Yangtze Block, South China. DCG has been divided into four formations from the bottom to the top: Yinmin, Luoxue, Heishan, and Qinglongshan. The Yinmin Formation, which represents the oldest rock unit of DCG, was intruded by a diabase dyke. The oldest zircon age of the clastic rocks from the Yinmin Formation is 3654 Ma, with "Hf(t) of −3.1 and a two-stage modeled age of 4081 Ma. Another zircon exhibits an age of 2406 Ma, with "Hf(t) of −20.1 and a two-stage modeled age of 4152 Ma. -
