Sveučilište u Zagrebu Fakultet prometnih znanosti DIPLOMSKI RAD RAZVOJNI POTENCIJALI ZRAČNOG PROMETA U REGIJI JUGOISTOČNE EUROPE AIR TRANSPORT DEVELOPMENT POTENTIALS IN REGION OF SOUTHEAST EUROPE Mentor: prof. dr. sc. Sanja Steiner Student: Emanuel Vulinović-Zlatan JMBAG: 0135222141 Zagreb, srpanj, 2019. SUMMARY Global air traffic industry is driving force of economic growth, tourism, entrepreneurship, investments and trade, as well as creating many employment possibilities. Despite constant growth and development, air trafficin Europe is faced with challenges of fragmentation and capacity limitations, which are inevitable in the future. Strengthtening integration and collaboration among participating factors is of key importance in achieving goals of efficiency and cost reduction, with maintaining high safety level. Research is concentrated on current status and development of southeast Europe region which is example of fragmentation and weak interconnectivity. Despite its turbulent past and relations among countries in the region, there is perspective for growth in the region, as well as on European air traffic market. KEY WORDS: European air traffic market; southeast Europe; air traffic carriers; airports; fragmentation. SADRŽAJ 1. S.N. Aeroportul Internaţional Timişoara „Traian Vuia” S.A.
