From October 5th to 7th, CAS(China Auto Salon) was held in Shanghai, China. For HKS, 2011 is the first year to gain ground into Chinese market, and CAS was the first HKS big event in China. The concept of the exhibition is the "Challenge". The "Challenge" means both challenge to the Chinese market and time attack challege at the racing.

We have displayed R35 GT-R GT800+ and new Nissan Tiida turbo. R35 GT-R was displayed with already widely acknowledged GT800+ kit and not yet realeased surge tank installed for our representative car. R35 GT-R is already very popular in China so we had many inquiries. In the other hand, we gave light tuning for new Tiida for easy-driving in the city concept. It has lively driving feel than normal car. At the CAS booth we have prepared our 40 years history of crafts as total product maker. Also we have shown our challenge to the new business such as bio-fuel. The CAS has gathered many people and so did HKS'booth. Our R35 GT-R did won the highest award for the number one automobile at CAS exhibition.

We could see the excitment of the HKS GT-R in China. On the next day at Shanghai Tianma Circuit, we had so many media related people for demonstration ride with our racer Mr. Taniguchi that not everyone can have ride within the time.

CAS was really precious event for HKS and we think for China, too. Thank you everyone for participation. It's just a begining of new era of HKS in China!
