En el artículo 3 apartado 4 del Decreto Foral 174/2017, se regula que mediante Or- den Foral del Departamento de Sostenibilidad y Medio Natural se podrán incluir nuevas áreas de esparcimiento en el Catálogo, así como excluir las que pierdan esta condición por cualquier causa. Asimismo, en la Disposición Adicional primera del Decreto Foral se encomienda al Departamento de Sostenibilidad y Medio Natural el mantenimiento y publicación actuali- zada del Catálogo de áreas de esparcimiento de la Diputación Foral de Bizkaia. UNA SEXTA APORTACIÓN Los 630 términos que aquí se publican, como euskéricos y encartados, conforman una nueva aportación, o contribución, tendente al esclarecimiento de un tema controvertido como es la existencia de una toponimia vasca en esta parte de la geografía de Bizkaia, habiendo sido la primera y punto de partida la ya lejana publicación con el título Toponimia euskérica en las Encartacio­ nes de Vizcaya (1). Si las primeras aportaciones que le siguieron fueron dis­ tanciadas en el tiempo, las tres últimas fueron apareciendo en lapsos de tiem­ po más cercanos según los años de su aparición (2). En todo caso, estas dilaciones no tienen otra explicación sino por lo complicado y disfuncional que resulta abordar un tema, como el que nos ocupa, a 7.000 kilómetros de dis­ tancia, algo, pues, completamente distinto y facilitado cuando se trabaja in situ. Este artículo aborda las continuidades de la población rural/ autóctona, la presencia de las mujeres en la zona con sus actividades mineras y no mineras y la vida societaria (no sólo la sindical).
