Friday Focus area Saab Car Museum and Trollhättan/ Vänersborg • The Saab Festival 2015 opens during Friday the 5th of June. • During Friday and Sunday the visitors have the opportunity to take part in several interesting seminars within the Saab Car Museum. • Please take the opportunity to shop some souvenirs from the Saab Car Museum souvenir shop. Saab Bilmuseum Åkerssjövägen 18, Trollhättan • During the festival you also have the opportunity to take part of the exhibition made by Rony Lutz. The exhibition takes place within the Trollhättan art hall next to the Saab Car Museum. 3. Friday Focus area Saab Car Museum and Trollhättan/Vänersborg • If you feel hungry, NOVA restaurant next to the Saab Car Museum are one of several restaurants within the area of Trollhättan/Vänersborg that offers affordable meals during the festival. Within the NOVA restaurant you can also find several toilets. • During Friday and Saturday, the ANA Begagnade delar will be open. Visit them to find good offers for your Saab. Some smaller amount of parts will be available, and a large area of self dismantling will be open. Saturday Schedule for the day 08.00-09.30: The gates to Kinnekulle Ring opens for those of you that would like to drive your car on the track during the day. - Please follow the directions from the racecrew. 08.00-16.00: General Saab parking for the Saab Festival visitors. - Please follow the directions from the racecrew. 09.30-10.00: Welcome speech and drivers meeting for all of you that will drive your Saab on the track during the day. 10.00-12.00: Track day part.

12.00-13.00: Lunch break with suprise.

13.00-14.00: Family driving part, with opportunity to go with a friend in his/her car.

14.00-16.00: Track day part. 3. Saturday In order for you to drive you need to

• Print, read and sign the Safety document . – You find the Safety document via the homepage of the Saab Festival. saabcarmuseum.se/event/saab-festival-2015 – You will hand this Safety document over to racecrew at the gate to Kinnekulle Ring. • You need to use a helmet during the track part of the day. There is no requirement of helmet usage for the family driving part. • Please check in advance the condition of your car. – The car must be approved for driving on the Swedish roads. – Check the brake pads, brake fluid, cooling fluid, seat belts (if present), front and rear seats. – The car battery and hat rack must be rigid fixed. – No loose items within the car during the drive on the track. – The tires must be approved for driving on the Swedish roads, meaning approved model, and with at least 1,6 mm tread. – Racecrew will check your car before you are allowed to drive. 3. Saturday For exhibitors • 08.00-09.30: The gate opens for exhibitors to enter the area. • Cost for exhibitors: 300 SEK/size of a car. – Payment to be done cash to racecrew. • Please follow the directions from the racecrew. • Exhibitors are welcome, but we can’t ensure everyone a place. Sunday Focus area Saab Car Museum The final day of the Saab Festival contains: • Car show around the Saab Car Museum. • Tribute to Erik Carlsson ”on the roof” within the Saab Car Museum. – The Saab Car Museum is open between 10.00-17.00. • The exhibition of Rony Lutz artwork within the Trollhättan art hall (Konsthallen). • NOVA restaurant, next to the Saab Car Museum, are one among several restaurants within Trollhättan/Vänersborg that offers excellent food during the Saab Festival. 3. Sunday Information for those of you that would like to measure your engine power within your car

• Stemeck, with Stefan Molin in charge, will bring a power measurement unit to the final day of the Saab Festival. • Here you have the chance to measure how much power you do have in your Saab. • The requirement is that it’s a Saab 9000, or older versions of a Saab, and maximum 500 horsepower. • There will only be possible to measure a few cars during the day, so please visit Stefan Molin within the Stemeck tent if you would like to sign up for this activity, and he will tell you all the practicallities, what it cost, how to pay and so on.
