Vassula Ryden
NOVEMBER 25/DECEMBER 8/12, 2012 Vassula Ryden: Problems with Rome, Bishops worldwide and her own Orthodox Church, but welcome in India Vassula Ryden is a controversial Greek-Orthodox "seer" who claims to receive written messages from God. The intention of this alert is to provide reliable information to the Bishops, heads of retreat centers, lay leaders in ministry, and the Catholic laity at large in the Indian Church about the status of acceptance by the Catholic and Orthodox Churches of the Greek Orthodox "seer" named Vassula Ryden and her "messages". This alert will gradually be developed into a more-detailed report* which can be viewed under the same title at the "REPORTS" section of this ministry’s web site. Interested readers are requested to check our web site periodically for updates and new articles. *This report was updated on December 8, 2012. See pages 27 ff. Also see VASSULA RYDEN-TESTIMONIES at http://ephesians-511.net/docs/VASSULA_RYDEN_TESTIMONIES.doc. That file in the "CATHOLIC ISSUES" section of our web site contains four testimonies reproduced from www.infovassula.ch, a critical website on Vassula Ryden and her "True Life in God" messages. The www.infovassula.ch website which was run by a Switzerland-based Catholic apologist Maria Laura Pio had to be shut down because of legal proceedings initiated against her in a civil court in Belgium in 2011 by the "True Life in God" [TLIG]"seer" Vassula Ryden and her team of legal experts. More of that later. The writing and publishing of this alert is immediately necessitated by the receipt of information concerning the imminent visit of Vassula Ryden to various Catholic locations in India* on the back of a trip by her to Paris and Strasbourg in France which however has elicited strong warnings from six French bishops**. -

British Airways I360 Media Pack
British Airways i360 Media Pack Walk on air British Airways i360 is the world’s tallest moving observation tower: a 162-metre-tall vertical tower with a fully enclosed futuristic glass observation pod that gently lifts groups of up to 200 passengers to a height of 138 metres. Located at the landward end of the West Pier on Brighton beach, British Airways i360 is a modern-day ‘vertical pier’, inviting visitors to ‘walk on air’ and gain a new perspective on the city, just as the original pier welcomed Victorian society to ‘walk on water’. From the glass viewing pod, guests can enjoy 360-degree views across Regency Brighton and Hove, the South Downs, the English Channel and the south coast east to Beachy Head, and on the clearest days all the way to the Isle of Wight in the west. The design and engineering of British Airways i360 is as impressive as it is innovative. The tower has a height-to-width ratio of more than 40:1 and state-of-the-art cable car technology is used to drive the pod up and down. Around 50% of the energy needed to power the pod is generated on its descent. Eleven years in the making from design to reality, British Airways i360 is the brainchild of architect-entrepreneurs David Marks and Julia Barfield of Marks Barfield Architects, best known as the practice that conceived and designed the world famous London Eye. If you are going through hard times, have faith that good times are on the way. Family Bond -December 2015 I CHRISTMAS DUTY - EDUCATION FOR PEACE AND HARMONY During the liturgical period of Annunciation we pray in the Holy Mass: “Jesus, Lord of the nations and King of peace come to establish peace and harmony in the whole world and especially in our country”. It is our duty to translate this prayer into action even after Christmas. The right means are various steps in the apostolate of education for enlightening the younger folk. Indeed peace was the message given at the birth of Jesus, “…Peace on earth” (Lk.2.14). A grown- up Jesus understood that his mission was to bring the kingdom in all its fullness to us. His message, - ‘the reign of God is imminent’ - calls for a heart full of love, ears open to the cry of the poor, and hands willing to help. Bringing peace, well-being and joy were the marks of His Kingdom announced through the first Twelve and then with the help of the Seventy two disciples.
