Japanese Language & Culture (JLC) Program 22nd July 2018 - 10th August 2018 Point 1 67.5 Hours of and Culture

NGU's JLC program is designed to teach the language and culture of to students from our partnership universities. It provides 13.5 hours of beginning level of Japanese language study, and 54 hours of lectures on a variety of topics including Japanese tourism, art, , local food culture, the automobile industry, animation and games. Our NGU students will be tutors to assist you. Participants can learn Japanese and Japanese culture through communicating with NGU students outside the classroom.

Point 2 Field Trips to and Tokyo

Tokyo Kyoto The JLC program provides hands-on cultural activities and weekend field trips for participants to learn about different aspects of Japan’s culture and society. During the program term, students will have an opportunity to visit Kyoto and Tokyo. For the Kyoto program, students will design a tour program by themselves as an educational project in the Japanese tourism class. For the Tokyo program, students will visit an animation studio and one of the flagship companies producing video games. Point 3 A Variety of Japanese Culture Experiences
