The Dixie National Quarter Horse Show, the Southern Classic, is the premier event of the Missis- sippi Quarter Horse Association. Taking place February 13-18, 2018, on the fairgrounds in Jackson, Miss., it is the largest quarter horse show held during a stock show in the nation. It averages 817 horses entered with over 9,000 entries and four judges are in each arena. The Dixie National Quarter Horse Show is the largest in the south and the third largest quarter horse show in the United States.
