From 2000 to 2011, she held various academic appointments at the Technical University Berlin in Germany – most recently as Director of the Center for Metropolitan Studies’ DFG Research Group on Urban Megaprojects. She has sixteen years of experience in sustainable transport advocacy and consulting for international development institutions. Her work has been published in numerous academic journals and edited volumes.
