Zoosystema 32 (4) : 549-565. ABSTRACT Th e Yungas are an area of dense evergreen forests covering the eastern slopes of the Andes. Very few studies deal with the insects of this biotope. Here the KEY WORDS results of a fi rst study of the Tingidae (Insecta, Heteroptera) of these forests are Insecta, Heteroptera, presented. New distribution and records of species, as well as descriptions of Tingidae, the fi fth instar larvae of Corythucha tapiensis, Dictyla monotropida, Gargaphia larvae, dissortis, Leptopharsa fi rma, Sphaerocysta angulata, Tigava pulchella are provided. new records, Argentina, Th e tingid fauna of the Yungas does not seem highly characteristic of this area, Yungas. but it is poorly known, especially at high elevations. RÉSUMÉ Tingidae (Insecta, Heteroptera) des Yungas (Argentine) : descriptions de larves V et nouvelles mentions. Les Yungas désignent les forêts denses humides qui couvrent les contreforts des Andes. Très peu d’études traitent des insectes de ce biotope. Nous rapportons ici MOTS CLÉS les résultats d’une première étude sur la faune de Tingidae (Insecta, Heteroptera) Insecta, Heteroptera, de ces forêts.
