TALLINN CITYBREAK ITINERARY: TALLINN DURATION: 4 days / 3 nights Day 1 Tallinn Arrival in Tallinn, the capital city of Estonia Transfer from the airport to the hotel Check in at the hotel Overnight in Tallinn Day 2 Tallinn Breakfast at the hotel Tallinn Sightseeing tour 3h City tour of Tallinn, a picturesque old city, where whole districts date back to the Middle Ages. You will visit the Old Town with its quaint narrow streets and beautiful merchants' houses exemplifying the best of Gothic architecture. The tour includes Toompea Castle, the 13th century Dome church, the 19th century Russian orthodox Cathedral of Alexander Nevskij, the 15th century town Hall square, the Old Guild built to celebrate Tallinn's membership in the Hanseatic League, and St. Olaf's church. Continue tour to Song Festival Grounds, Pirita recreation area, the Yachting Centre and the ruins of St Birgit`s Monastery. Optional tour (not included): Afternoon visit of Kadriorg Palace 3h The palace, constructed as a gift by Peter the Great to his wife Catherine I in the 1720s, is an excellent example of Baroque architecture. The Foreign Art Museum of the Kadriorg Palace displays paintings, sculptures, graphic art and applied art of Western Europe and the Russia from the 16 -20 century. Or Optional tour (not included): Rocca al Mare Open Air Museum 3 h The Estonian Open Air Museum (founded in 1957) is situated at an 8 km distance from the centre of Tallinn on a wooded coastal headland in a beautiful place called Rocca al Mare. The Open Air Museum presents a unique collection of old Estonian buildings on a 79-hectare expanse of seaside land. Farm buildings, windmills and water mills from various periods and regions have been brought together here. Folk holidays are celebrated in traditional style at the museum. Handicrafts are sold in the main gateway and horseback rides are also available. Overnight in Tallinn Day 3 Tallinn - Lahemaa Park - Tallinn Breakfast at the hotel. Full day excursion 8h Travel to Lahemaa Park Lahema National Park is located about 60 km from Tallinn and covers 480 square km of typical North Estonia sea coast landscape. Lahemaa National Park is famous for its beautiful nature, peninsulas that reach far into the sea, fishing villages and manor houses. During the trip you may encounter various birds, some animals exiting nature areas. Palmse and Sagadi manor houses in the heart of Lahemaa provide an excellent opportunity to see the way of life of ancient lords and ladies of the manor. During tour you will also visit the fishing village of Altja and its old inn, Vosu resort, one of the best-known resorts in North Estonia located 80 km from Tallinn, as well as the captain’s village of Kāsmu. In the years between the two World Wars the concept became more political in nature: after Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania obtained their independence in 1918 the region gradually became understood as the geographical entity made up of these three republics. Although the Baltic region is geographically fairly homogeneous, each of the newly restored republics possesses unique geographical and strategic features.

Tallinn offers many free walking tours like the one from traveller, freetour. You just need to be on time at the meeting point and they take care of the rest.     Estonia recce 24 June – 1 July 2015 These are our diary, wildlife lists and other notes from a recce visit to Estonia, courtesy of NaTourEst www.natourest.ee, who organise wildlife and activity holidays in Estonia. Participants were Chris Durdin and Ivan Nethercoat from Honeyguide, and our main guide was Rein Kuresoo. While we were in Estonia we also met Triin, Bert and Alf from NaTourEst. Our recce took us from Tallinn to the large, western island of Saaremaa, then back on the mainland to parts of western Estonia in and around Matsalu National Park, and then east of Tallinn to Lahemaa National Park. The daily diary is in sections to separate these areas. We concluded that for a Honeyguide holiday we would come earlier in June (that was no surprise – the recce dates were much influenced by other commitments). We also think that to reduce travelling time and for the best mix of birds, flowers and mammals that we should combine western Estonia with Lahemaa National Park. Therefore, the first section of this recce report, covering Saaremaa, is less relevant to the holiday planned for June 2016. It’s included partly for completeness but also as Saaremaa has great charm, is botanically rich and could even be a base for a slightly different holiday, such as ‘orchids of Estonia’. Lisaks elamutele on kavas osa maad reserveerida ärimaaks ja ka segahoo- nestusega aladeks. Praegu on linnaosa põhimagistraalidel tipptundidel ummikud. Nende likvideerimiseks ja ka tuleviku nõudmiste rahuldamiseks nähakse üldplaneeringuga ette Rannamõisa tee rekonst- rueerimine ja mitmete eritasandiristmike väljaehitamist. Asumite tihendamise, uute elamualade loomise ja teede infrastruktuuri tõhustamisega kaas- nevad järgmised keskkonnamõjud ning probleemid: • rohekoridoride likvideerimise reaalne oht; praegu kulgeb üks rohekoridor üle Astan- gu, Harku järve kaldaääre ja Pikaliiva asumi Kakumäe poolsaarele (Õismäe raba); tei- ne ohustatav rohekoridor on Mustoja suudmeala, kuhu üldplaneeringu järgi kavanda- takse elamuala võib katkestada rohekoridori Kopli lahe rannaalal • surve suurenemine Harku järvele ja järvevee kvaliteedile; sadevee ja ka reostunud kuivendusvee juhtimine järve; oht puhke- ja supluskohale • müra ja välisõhusaaste suurenemine suurte magistraalide ääres • eritasandiristmikud ja liiklusmagistraalide rekonstrueerimine (laiendamine) toovad kaasa lühiajalise leevenduse liiklusummikute vältimiseks.     AS Tallinna Vesi Results of the 4th quarter of 2020 Karl Heino Brookes CEO, Member of the Management Board Kristi Ojakäär CFO, Member of the Management Board 2020 was an exceptional year • Covid19 caused a lot of changes in work arrangements for safety • Consumption has increased in private customer segment, but decreased in corporate segment • Due to the reduced tariffs applicable since the end of 2019 and influence of virus restrictions, the Company's revenues and profits in 2020 were lower in comparison with 2019 • Number of new network connections has remained stable • According to external forecasts, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic will gradually start to reverse in 2021 as the vaccine is implemented • Despite COVID-19, Tallinna Vesi had a good year in terms of many parameters, including improving operational results and executing large-scale construction projects Significant increase in investments Total investments in 2020: €15.56 mln (€8.8 mln in 2019) Paljassaare WWTP Large-scale network projects: • The reconstruction of the mechanical treatment stage at Paljassaare wastewater treatment (the biggest recent investments, €7.6 mln 2019-2022) • Reconstruction of the water pipe at Punane Str supplying residents in Lasnamäe and Maardu • Renewing part of the water pipe on Järvevana Rd Watercom’s jetwash truck • Investment into new technology and telemetry in pumping stations in Pirita-Kose and Northern Tallinn. • Reconstructin of large collector at Kadaka Blvd Operational results 99,50% 99,00% 99,71% 99,04% 14,30% 12,30% 12,42%
