15th Nov - 30th Nov 2008 www.hkaiff.hk Presents Kevin Wong Graphic Designed by Model: Festival BB 馮睿 2 Official Sponsor Venue Support Supported by Official Coffee Sponsor Official Carrier Website Support Media Partner Promotion Partner Supporting Organization Workshop Venue Sponsor Special Thanks 達微慈善基金 Dawei Charitable Foundation 鳴謝 Acknowledgement3 還記得十二年前我們辦第一屆影意志周年展,幾個獨立電影人自己由影視處捧着幾個三十五毫米的拷貝,走過藝術中 心,走到不同的場地發放傳單(因為一直有一個傳聞是康文處場地的職員不會每天替你添加傳單),還記得有幾個中學 生拿著單張在討論甚麼是獨立電影,好不容易等到放映那天,幾套短片的導演的工作人員和朋友,把林百欣電影院 (對,當時還是林百欣)填滿七、八成,餘下兩成便是一些大學生,有一個很支持我們的大學講師打趣地說,他教多幾 年書,便可以多開一場了。多謝他,多謝他的學生,多謝藝術中心,特別是他們還出版過幾期獨立人,很喜歡這名 字,很有態度。 接著,透過藝術發展局的資助,創造社的協力,我們的電影有機會在影藝戲院放映,發行光碟,多謝藝發局,舒琪先 生,銀都機構。 之後又和錄影太奇和康文署合作無限投射,在不同的地區放映更多的作品,讓獨立電影的觀眾層面更廣,亦讓我們接 觸更多獨立電影人,多謝錄影太奇、康文署、其他藝術團體和創作人。 02年開始,我們移師百老滙電影中心,由周年展變成“點解獨立咁過癮”,再發展到04年的香港亞洲電影節,聲勢浩 大,得到愈來愈多傳媒,觀眾甚至乎電影工作者的關注,幾年間,不少獨立人有機會晉身主流,獨立跟工業的溝通也 多了,多謝百老滙電影中心,特別要多謝的是Esther,影意志的GM,實在勞苦功高,把影意志帶到另一層次。 今年,第一屆香港亞洲獨立電影節,影意志已經有專責公司負責運片,場地選擇了和 The Grand 合作,那講師教過 的學生夠我們多開兩場,但不知道那幾個中學生弄懂了甚麼是獨立電影沒有,很難怪,因為我們曾經也不懂,無可否 認,商業成功是很誘惑,傳媒報導及影展的明星化都很能滿足大家的虛榮,但當有人譏諷獨立只會趕客,朋友會笑 問“幾十歲仲搞緊啲咁野”,普遍的人,甚至乎創作人本身都認為獨立電影是進軍主流的一個showreel時,究竟影意 志還有沒有存在的價值。年輕時態度鮮明,但理性上總是弄不懂甚麼是獨立,經歷多了,更清楚獨立電影的價值,我 們就是要用自己的方法,發出主流以外的聲音,今次電影節選影的某些電影也許會有人覺得被冒犯,也或許有人會覺 得某些片難登大雅之堂,但可有想過有些獨立人本就是想透過作品挑戰你,也從未覬覦過那大雅之堂。 就像今年的三款海報,我們笑過,憤怒過,如今更堅定,雖然是第一屆,只是一個BB,但是一個很有態度的BB,多 謝Venus,影意志的現任GM,每一個電影節的工作人員,香港藝術發展局,The Grand,支持獨立電影的觀眾,和每 一個認識或不認識的獨立人。 作為一個普通市民,我們行使著我們的權利,發表我們的聲音;作為一個導演,我們謙卑地繼續學習拍更好的作品! 崔允信 「影意志」創辦人之一 12 Years ago we held our very first film festival Ying E ChiSuperframe , and enjoyed an unforgettable experience which is still running through my mind: Hearing a flying rumour that staffs in Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) won’t go to refill the boxes after distributing all the available pamphlets, we, a couple of independent film work- ers, strode across the office of Television and Entertainment Licensing Authority, Hong Kong Arts Centre and different venues, to scatter pamphlets, not to mention all the 35mm copies were still, literally, on our hands. -

The objects examined include one such handscroll painting, several illustrated books from the Sakamaki-Hawley Collection, University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Library, and Hokusai Ryūkyū Hakkei, an 1832 series of eight landscape prints depicting sites in Okinawa. Drawing upon previous scholarship on the role of popular publishing in forming conceptions of “Japan” or of “national identity” at this time, a media discourse approach is employed to argue that such publications can serve as reliable indicators of understandings -

She was part of a Junko Sakurada music trio in 1973, which included Momoe Yamaguchi 桜田 淳子 and Masako Mori. Sakurada then became successful in a solo music career, with 18 top ten singles in the 1970s. Her acting career ran from 1973 to 1993. She received multiple awards for her acting roles, including the Hochi Film Award, Award of the Japanese Academy, Kinema Junpo Award, and Mainichi Film Concours. Following her marriage, in a Blessing ceremony of the Unification Church in 1992, she retired from performing.
