Results of Aeronautical Consultations between and the United States of America

～ Japan-U.S. Daytime Flights will start at ～

The consultations between the aeronautical authorities of Japan and the United States were held in , Japan, on 16 - 18 February 2016. Both delegations reached an agreement to commence daytime services at Haneda International Airport as described below.

Airlines of each country will be allowed to use five (5) slot pairs during daytime hours and one (1) slot pair during late night and early morning hours, aiming to effectuate from the beginning of the IATA 2016 Winter Season.

* Four (4) slot pairs out of the above five (5) slot pairs to be made available during daytime hours are the result of transitioning the current four (4) slot pairs during late night and early morning hours. * Routes and operating airlines will be determined after the internal procedures on each country. * These daytime slot pairs are the part of the slot pairs increased in March 2014.
